Remove voice chat

A way to disable voice chat, would be nice.
Specialy as it make the program goes down all the time, so its without any value.

Don’t have to remove it totally from game but i wish i had a way (not complicated firewall way but, you know, a button!) to turn it completely off on my client. I don’t use it (don’t even have game sounds on most of the time) so it feels just stupid being there flashing it’s silly little icon all the time. :smiley:

I don’t see the point of it in wow anyway. People Always went to their ventrillo servers (or now discord). I don’t think anyone ever uses wow voicechat. Especially so on european servers

I use it all the time, it’s on par in quality with disco and it’s often much more convenient for me.

An option to disable it, ye for sure, but don’t remove it.

I have never used it, but it also doesn’t bother me that it’s there.

Isn’t it useful for PUGs? Seems a bit easier than having to connect to someone’s Discord or TeamSpeak server, but I don’t know.

I would love for this option, and I don’t want to have to go via parental controls as an adult to disable it. Just give us all the option.

The parent control doesnt remove it it just hides the options and the firewall option doesnt work i still get that :poop: about disconecting and reconecting to voice chat ALL THE TIME and it makes me wanna eff myself

Submit an in game suggestion and/or bug report about it.

I did the in game suggestion a few weeks ago to add an option to switch it off cos it’s constant disconnects and reconnects crash the whole game :angry:

The more people who annoy them with the suggestion the more likely they will do something about it.

It still connects us to the server for it whether we have it disabled or not. I’d prefer not to be connected to it at all.

People say they get the connected/disconnected stuff all the time but I have never seen it once. I have changed the settings. It could be that I have set it to push to talk.

Isn’t there wow voice proxy in task manager that can be shut down or something?

You have to keep shutting it down.

I’ve been thinking about this and I have realised I start WoW as an administrator and have turned off the User Account Control. Maybe that’s why I don’t get it.
