Okay you cant fix your servers since it is expensive and you already got most of your money you are gonna get from wotlk. But remove the zombie event. It is not used for anything other than griefing.

The infectious zombie part only lasts for 5 days, you can find that info on the wowwiki. It already ended in the US.

Infection phase will come soon its end as the cure has been discovered, the scourge event itself aka were you can farm the runes, and gear pieces + the second change to get hands on the argent tabard should be up and running, and not to forget the event boss in karazhan that drops a bat pet for everyone and the famous arcanite ripper, this will stay until wrath of the lich king launches if not mistaken.
For sure that is the part majority will most enjoy of the event.
As a paladin it was quite a challenge to purify the infected while same time kiting and smiting zombies.
They could keep it forever and make quest npcs etc unkillable then I would not care. But when it interferes with everyones gameplay… come on man

Would be funny, if this event lasted for the whole duration of wotlk. I’d find it cool from a rpg perspective… Or at least, until the first kill on lich king has been achieved on the given server

WTB perma plague server
A few things that makes you go HMMM about it though:
How does an UNDEAD (Horde) get changed into a ghoul? They are already UNDEAD?
Why does this affect Death Knights? Aren’t they also some type of undead?
Also the lag that it brings to the server is a bit insane. If they could fix that, it might be interesting to have these events localized a bit. Like 1 city in each faction gets attacked randomly or something.
Oh and it shouldn’t affect BGs. People bringing that into a BG and trolling…I agree with the long bans on those individuals.
