Removed from the group

No. Not necessarily. The scaling is really strange in regards of mob health as well as your base damage. Typically due to that (as well stat requirements for total percentages on haste/mastery/versa/crit) its low level players that rampage through a dungeon.

Basically in the past it was a godsent if you were lets say level 48 and you ended up in a group of level 15s or something since they would absolutely obliterate the dungeon in record time.

Very often you kick people who do not seem like a lost newbie, but still ninjapull and that jazz. Examples would be:

Acceptable) A guy deepbreaths and goes flying into a pack of mobs, starts running in clear panic in total loss of direction - the situation keeps building as the whole instance comes running at you.

Not acceptable) The guy deepbreaths into the pack, then starts sending abilities at anything close -then runs back to the tank to gather for a big AoE slapfest.

Acceptable) Guy is consistently just not there, you check the map, and he is currently running in circles in the dungeon, checking doorways and pathways, going back and forth - until someone goes and brings him back.

Not acceptable) Guy is consistently just not there, you check the map, he is currently standing still for the 4th time.

Some newer players get caught in the crossfire in the war of efficiency, but 99% of us just smile and are polite to the clearly new players.

As has been said, just move on, it’s not worth losing sleep over. Just a few days ago I was on my lock leveling in dungeons when the kick pop up window popped up saying “Wanted to kick the lock.” And the hunter was removed. I was so surprised because I didn’t do anything wrong and when I asked the group, they had no idea either what the hunters problem was.

Just a little story to say people try and kick others for no reason but sometimes it turns around on them instead. It was a long classic dungeon and we had almost reached the last boss when the hunter was kicked

Yeah people seem to kick for no reason except to be an …

I was in a group the other day. Great group, no problems when the window pops up right before the last boss asking to kick the Rogue for reason “troll”. When the group asked, the guy who initiated the kick said he did it for fun.

The Rogue didn’t get kicked anyway as we all declined

I see this kind of thing too often and some people feel inclined to accept the vote on a player so as not to be the next target of a vote.

Yes because doing 1/10th of everyone else’s dps is acceptable and if you refuse to carry a lazy player staring at enemies instead of actually pressing buttons, then you are toxic.

Being afk for 5 minutes without saying anything is acceptable too, people need to understand that a friend just sent me a funny meme so I have to respond bro i dont care if im in middle of a fight its just a game hehe.

Oh and if the dps is pulling ahead, dying, then making the healer die because he tried to save him from his stupidity, that is acceptable as well and if you refuse to accept all I say then you are toxic.

pls don’t be toxic or i votekick you.

It happens, there is no real reason to obsess over the why. If you can’t think of anything you did or said that would have warranted your eviction then just shrug it off. Do something else in the mean time and requeue when you can.

If you find yourself removed often, you might want to review how you behave in group content to see if there is something you could do better.

I’ve made it a point to always read the reason of the kick, too many times it’s a stupid one or a straight up lie. I hardly ever click yes and never just because the window popped up and I want it gone.

Hi again,

I think it’s the system itself because, for the third time it happened, however this time all party members were booted out of the dungeon if I read the screen correctly, when I opened the dungeon finder it had a cooldown of around 18 mins If I recall, and all group members were on cooldown as well, literally accepted and removed in a second same time for everyone

Maybe the last 2 times we were kicked at different time intervals so we are no longer in the same group, hence reading cooldown for my character only.

Made me lol, waited again and kept queueing up until I had enough dungeon runs for today.

Today was something else

I think you may have hit the right reason, I looked at the Op’s profile and needed to restrain myself from punching the monitor and screaming obscenities…

But seriously, as the game doesn’t inform you why you suddenly get removed and a deserter debuff like you said, you’ll probably never know.

SOo obsessed with skins in any MMO, it’s hard to look nice in WoW

Today in a dungeon there was the first deserved kick I have seen all week. The healer just…I don’t know what they were doing but they were sitting on their thumbs. The tank had enough at some point and initiated a kick. People stopped to ask.

The tanks reply?

"90% of the heals I received was from the Retri Paladin. "

The vote went through.

I think I might get said retri to max level

Seen a couple of vote kicks in TW dungeons where the person didn’t move from the entrance and just stayed AFK.

Bro, what.

I’d kick for that. Rather get rid of them and get in a player who actually takes part.
