Like what is even arms identity, we are supposed to the big hitter class that excute’s targets with mighty blows, Skull banner fit perfectly with the theme and just needed some readjustments. Instead they buff the stupid bleed effects to make them good and remove banner, like if i wanted to play a bleed class I’d play a Walmart rouge aka feral druid Pls bring it back and just tune it correctly cuz Condemn is already gone Arms should keep its identity of the big mighty blow class

Littarly the entire right side off the tree is Execute modifiers…
Getting 15x 3% extra dmg on Execute speaks for itself right? This added with the previous nodes on the right side off the tree… It hits like an absolute !
I never liked Condemn either way. Execute should stay as an Execute, not a Mortal Strike replacement…
How are you supposed to “Execute” a 100% health enemy?

But bleeding the target until it is weakened (low hp) to be executed is a perfectly valid identity for a disciplined/veteran warrior like arms is supposed to be.
You use your experience to hit the target when its exposed leaving more and more wounds as the fight goes on until the targets cant defended themselves anymore and get it by mighty blows.
Seems like a valid fantasy to me.
I’m actually quite interested in the bleed builds and to be fair, you can avoid a lot of the bleeds and go full Execute/MS/Cleave/Overpower.
im playing my warrior curently on beta. and u esentialy got 3 viable specs for arms… u can go the bleed ( low dmg) but really high execute build… with is wierd… cuz in progresion if u die b4 execute u will be under the tanks on meters=)). u can go the mass aoe build where u go spear + bladestorm overpower cleave builds… and its really strong for fortified m+ keys… and also another in betwin build… where u can actualy play like now… with ms-overpowered and execute… its basicly like it is now… meh… its ok…
PS. fury looks better on betta. but they didnt made the damage tunning yet so… any of them could be better when DF launch

The bleed build pulls ahead in every situation.
Like seriously, by a big margin.
You can’t realisticly combine the Execute and Bleed build either because you need to pick ALOT of nodes on the left side to enable the viability off the bleeds to begin with.
The spear build is super undertuned atm.
Because off the insane bleed spread with Thunderous roar etc.
Basicly…
You are forced into one build, Bleeds. Sadly.
You can go ST or AOE build off Bleeds, but you can’t make a solid hybrid build. Sadly.
Imo, they kind off missed the mark.
I’d be way happier if we had a hard hitting execute/MS build, as arms uses a 2h to smash skulls. Not to cut somebodies arm and let them bleed to death…
They’ve not even done any proper raid testing or m+ yet, give them a chance to balance stuff.
I do really really hope they realise bleed builds aren’t “Warrior”…
But I keep my hopes up, the Arms tier set could provide intresting change-ups.
I hope they make them both viable.
yeah, a lot of the set bonuses are either crap or make no sense across all the classes.
what makes u feel that bleed builds arent warrior?:)))) they actualy are verry warrios… and rend has been a staple spell of warrior since classic. and making a bleed build around it for arms. is not bad… its actualy thematic. bleed the target then execute him. it makes sense and i like it. have to w8 for numbers anyway to see whats what
Rogue’s for example use daggers, so if they make a cut the enemy bleeds.
Us using big 2h weapons just makes me feel like we would just cut off a limb instead off making a small cut across the arm/leg and just letting them bleed.
Us having an attack like Mortal Strike and Overpower that make a huge swing followed by a sound effect like you are straight up smashing bones are more Arms warrior then the splashy weak Rend sound effect followed by a little bleed.
(Also Orc’s rend animation is lame.)
I get Arms have had this skill forever but I just never felt like it really belonged to the Warrior style, in my opinion ofcourse.
I hope they can make the MS-Cleave/Execute build a thing, I love how those skills work/sound/look.
