Removing Approved Status from a Guild Applicant

Is there any way to remove the “approved” status from an applicant to the guild, on the in-game guild finder? Or does it eventually just “fall off”?

We’ve got someone who applied, was accepted, but then has not taken the invite, not responded to any contact and not tried contacting us either. I don’t really want it hanging around because effectively they’ve now got a free pass to join the guild randomly whenever they want and we have a policy that, if they’re accepted, but then don’t join, we give them a couple of weeks leeway and then just close the application down.

I’ve noticed with my alts that there is no notification on being approved to an applied guild. One reason why they didn’t accept maybe.

I don’t know how to answer that you’ve tried to contact them and they didn’t reply though :confused:

I’m just hoping that, like the “applicant history” it just disappears as an option - both on my guild list, and on the person who it was sent to, eventually. It’s been stuck there nearly three weeks so far.

Oh that would drive me up the wall too!!! When I’ve invited people to our community I still have a red x at the end of the invite line to get rid of it.

Hmm … I wonder if the lack of that in the guild invite line is actually a bug then? Does that red x get rid of the acceptance … or just the line stating they’ve been accepted in your interface, do you think?

I had one invite pending in my community, I just hit the red x at the end and it vanished from my list. But I’m not sure if it’s the same for the guild interface, I’ve not used mine in that way so far.

I realized last night all my alts are in guilds xD and couldn’t screenshot an example sorry xD But in essence it shows as “pending” acceptee’s side, but there is a notification on top where community and guild chat tabs are for a guild invite that needs to be accepted

I think I’m just going to have to wait and see. It is annoying and it would be nice if there was an answer out there … but I suppose eventually I’ll work it out for myself. Guilds aren’t particularly well supported at the moment, so I shouldn’t really expect too much.

I suppose I could do … but it’s not necessarily a bug, or anything broken, it’s just something I’d like info on - it kinda feels like I’d be wasting their time, and I was hoping someone on the forums might know :stuck_out_tongue:
