Renown 80 - 1 when i covenant switched, lost all 80 renown… bugged?

You have to build up renown with each Covenant. It doesn’t carry over. Do buy the item in Oribos that allows you to instantly gain 60 renown.

err no.It was always like that.You also need to farm the adventurers for the table from Torghast and build the covenant upgrades.
There is a vendor next to the flight master at oribos that sells an item to get 60 Renown( was 40 at Season 3)
And doing the covenant storyline, and other stuff (callings etc), will get you to 80 fast enough.
Looking at wowhead it stated that from 9.2 when you reached renown 80 you could switch covenant without losing your renown… need to have the achievement ‘renowned’ and i have that
I think the Renowned achievement was to not lose everything you have done at the Covenant you leave from.Before 9.2 if you wanted to switch back it was like starting all over again.

How to Switch Covenants in Patch 9.2
Players can freely swap between Covenants after reaching Renown 80 with any character in their account. The achievement Renowned is required to unlock free switches. These switches have no restrictions; you can switch back and forth as many times as you want. This includes rejoining Covenants you’ve belonged to before.
Means you no longer have to do the swapping quests over two resets if you are at 80 renown with that covenant on that character or any other I believe.
Rejoining Former Covenants Without Renown 80
After Renown 80
Once any character in your account reaches Renown 80, all characters in your account can freely move between any of the four covenants without any restrictions. See the sections above for details.
Without Renown 80
If you don’t have a character who is Renown 80, it makes far more sense to focus on that instead of doing the rejoin quest,** which is long, tedious, and isn’t worth the time. However, if you feel you must to do it without a character at Renown 80, the old process still exists.

Yeah, and when you switch back to your oiginal Covenant you will still have your Renown 80 there.
Go to the little guy beside the Flight Master in Oribos and buy the thingummy that boosts you to Renown 60 and use it. You’ll have to build up the other 20 with your second Covanant, but that’s pretty fast now, and then you can switch between alytime and keep your Renown at 80 on both.
