Wouldn’t it be great if renown was account wide I feel like it would encourage people to play a lot more world content!
Me for example I have a lot of alts I like to play mythic+ raids and PvP so while waiting in queue that can be up to 30-40mins instead of going afk in the main city it would be nice to do world quests and world events that contribute to a rep grind rather then only being able to do it on your main!

I just wonder will it lower player activity on alts. Personally, my alts are only in open world and Im wondering what will I do on alts if there is no need to rep farm on them.
That happened in swtor, there was no carrot to play alts when rep is account bound.

For me at least, my alts have always mainly been there for gathering and crafting purposes. So it will make no difference to me other than maybe convenience in rep locked recipes for the future.
Though to be very honest Dragonflight’s overhaul of the crafting system has put it right up there with AP farming, making it a rather laborious task to keep up with alts.
I suspect for other’s its just a quicker way to get their alts’s m+ or raid ready than usual.
Hopefully they add together reps from all alts when they do the dragon flight ones I want my armored helm for my dragons but my reps spread across like 5 characters
I think it will be better since a bunch of stuff like recipes are locked behind rep and getting them on an alt will take so long, the recipe will be obsolete. Personally i wouldn’t mind all rep to go accountwide once the max is reached on a character.
If you have a renown maxed on a character, it should count as account wide I think.

Yes, for that alt playstyle it will be better.
For me, who like questing, farming rep on each and crafting on alts, it will probably be much more boring, just staying in city and crafting.
I just hope they dont go FF14 route with all professions on one character, that would mean alts arent needed at all.
Even better would be account-wide everything (but not like gear and level)
I think Most people play alts these days and it would be a huge plus for people who play multiple characters
I mean if they increased the rep needed overall for everything then it will still be the same just that you can work towards it on all characters instead on one individual.

I’m still waiting to see how they handle multiple accounts, I play 2 atm.
We know so little atm, other than what was presented. I’m sure many people have questions like that.
I would love If they merged that between US and EU accounts I travel a lot so switch between the two or I can’t raid but it’s annoying having to start over every time!
