Renown Catch-up

Have anyone run into the issue about not getting any renown at all from this so-called catch-up. Changed coven and can get not get past 6 renown. And no renown, drops from hc, rbg, bg, m+, callings

I did get renown from HC spam but it is rly RNG. So it may take some time…!

You can get renown levels from everywhere pretty much. Maw Souls rescue, rares in open world, Calling-Quests (aka Emissaries just renamed, totally new Idea there Activision-“Blizzard” LUL), Dungeon Bosses, Campaign.

I changed my Covenant at lvl 12, got to the maximum 15 this week easily

The RNG must just not be in my favor… Been doing m+, hc spam, rbg. bgs, quests, callings, rares and everything inbetween, and have not seen 1 single renown since i switched coven 3 days ago. Stil stuck at 6 renown

Darn that’s sad to hear bro. It could be that bloody RNG… hopefully it get better soon or else submit a ticket. But it is a bit RNG to get help there as well! Wish you the best of luck

Why make a ticket for them to say RNG.

It’s a waste of GM and your time.

That’s why there’s a 13 day reponse time.

well tbh. 3 days of constant farming, is not a catch-up mechanic. I kinda more feels like a bug.

Considering it’s usually a few weeks it’s a good catch up.

I think issue with renown is a penalty to drop%. To teach you not to switch so easly. Another blizzard consume time method.

I made the stupid decision to change last week (1 week prior to next PvP upgrades) and now I’m gated for what appears to be the next TWO CHUFFING WEEKS. I’m getting NOTHING from callings, world quests or any kind of PvP (rated or random). I don’t PvE, I don’t wanna run dungeons and raids - I just wanna upgrade my PvP gear and continue doing PvP.

Honestly I’m so god damn mad.

Make sure you haven’t done your renown weeklies if you’re trying to catch up. They seem to lock you out, they locked me out last week. Not sure if this is a bug or intended. But the second I turned in my ‘Maw Souls’ quest, I stopped getting catch up renown from any sources, raid and callings included.
