New players won’t have to grind Torghast for a week, or at all, for that matter, only finish the covenant and ZM questlines to get maxed renown.
Dude, there was a challenge in 9.0 where you had to solo HEROIC Plaguefall for the Slime Serpent mount. Granted, only a few classes could do it, but even at that time I could do normal as balance druid.
We are 2 patches ahead of that.
This is completely false, as well. Every single Legion boss was soloable (even on Mythic) in 9.1.5. I know because I did it. And like half of Uldir, the first 3 bosses of Dazar’alor and Eternal Palace are currently soloable on LFR and Normal.

ZM gear is 226 from vendor normal atm drops higher(236) so it would be hard to solo.
Only after they made drastic changes to a few fights.
On topic i think you only need level 60 to get all mogs anyways.
I’m sure anybody that wants to farm the old content will go back and do what gives them Renown.
Callings give renown, Weekly Anima quest gives renown. Dungeons, Torghast, Raids gives renown, 3 weekly world bosses gives renown. Plus various quests along the way.
Over time they will get there.
Considering all of the covenant content there is in Shadowlands, there will be plenty for any new player who wants to go back and do it. So quick and easy renown, isn’t necessarily necessary considering they will only need to do it once before they can buy the 60 renown item. And then they will be farming months for anima and grateful offerings anyway.

ignored the trolls above for making up lies about soloing content (maybe 1-2 classes with the working conduits/legos could) but not anymore, scaling broke the game again and it wont be a priority for current blizzard to fix it. just like they didnt allow legion soloing till the mid of shadowlands (1.5 expansion forward)

at a certain point he cant deny everything ? like regular story quests take under 3 minutes and throw renown at you … (zereth mortis ones at least) i levelled a second covenant like that on alt before i knew about 500g item.
