Did a whole round of world quests and didn’t get enough rep for even one level for each faction. Are we seriously supposed to spend over half a year getting renown to max level? The gear we can buy from the rep vendors are already obsolete, so what’s even the point?

The point is that u dont hit renown cap in one week ( like some did ) only to then cry there is nothing to do .
Also, it will take like 2-3 months to hit cap if u do just regular casuals stuff

But there is nothing to do even right now, all WQs don’t take even an hour/week. And even when we actually get that max renown in half a year. what’s the point? We get some cosmetics and that’s it.
The issue with that is that a lot of crafting is locked behind renown. Which means anyone that wants to craft armor and weapons will be already geared higher at that point.
That’s completely stupid.

And what exactly was point of reputations in past expansions?
I don’t think they are to low. I am already at 18/13/13/10. They are fine as they are. What is the problem with the cosmetics? I like to play dress up with my character.
You could get a piece of gear that you outleveled 3 months earlier.
Oh and legendary recipe none ever used.
If all you care is gear then there is no point to it. Just don’t do it.
You now do Rep Grinds instead of WQ’s It’s better because you’re not limited to how much you earn per week, it’s just smaller amounts.
But it’s worse, because you’re not limited to how much you do, and the amount is small.
I prefer more WQs at higher Reward. But others didn’t, I guess.

As long as I can max out my reps by doing the basic weekly content before the next patch comes out then I’ll be happy!
supposedly someone on NA that has already reached 25 renown with all factions.
So it’s a problem if renown is tied to player power, and it’s a problem if it’s not.

Its actually pretty fast. Hasn’t even been two weeks since release and i’m nearly halfway through with valdrakken. It’s way too fast imo

The crafting system is very good but has a very big flaw. Once m+ is available they will be worthless. They would be be great without m+. Like the nice old days. Also at the start atleast there will be huuuge phials and potions sortage… There are not enough materials in the AH
With exeption of Tuskars all others Renown and REps are kinda resonalbe to farm and you can max them out if you really want to so personaly see no porblems exept thous fat seals
As you gain renown, you open up more ways to earn rep.
Also; why are you in a hurry to earn it?
Then it’s not meant for you. So THAT is the point.
Renown is mainly about cosmetic rewards.
The few bit of power rewards that are there, are for people who would actually use that stuff (maybe on an alt for instance - since those gain renown a lot faster once you reach certain thresholds).
That is probably their benchmark.
You don’t HAVE to do it, let the reward be there for people who want to put in the time. Strange thing to complain about, if you want instant gratification MMOs aren’t for you try a different genre.
Renown is fine as it is and I am excited about how it is obviously going to take a long time to max.
clown peoples spend 14 hours in row farming grand hunts or wrathion keys get exalted in day 1 or 2 and then cry why there nothing to do person who got renown max played literally 18 hours a day for entire week with barely 3 hours sleep like bruh thats not normal
