Is there a way to check your renown with other covenants without swapping?
Hated this when I was farming the last few levels of renown to all covenants. Didn’t find a way.

Am I able to freely swap between the two? I only recently ‘came back’ If you can even call it that and didn’t really pay attention to some of the changes 
Yes you can. Just talk to the covenant guys in the Enclave in Oribos. This might require a high renown on one of the covenants, someone please confirm.
don’t you need 80 renown with a covenant before you can swap freely?
or is that just to buy the BoA anima/renown package?

I’m not sure but the OP should definitely confirm before swappintg. You can easily grind to 80 in a day though.

yeah I was basically necro on my sham but wasn’t enjoying ele so much so swapped to venth and went Enhance.
Im 55 venth so its fine
I mean, you can on comp stomp week… not sure how you’d do it the rest of the time. My alt got venthyr to 80 (so my main can access it easy in 9.2), swapped to NF, and is still ~70 several weeks later. You gotta be doing a lot of things to go 40-80 in 24 hours.
Does the Altoholic mod have any help for the situation, OP? It does a lot of similar things 
Keep in mind when u change covenant your heartstone will no longer be bound there & all covenants gets reset to the first conduit-follower-people-guy
So if u multispec, you have to change to their spec & change the soulbind guy
I lvled my hunter to 60 yesterday, it had like 55 renown or something when I hit 60. Could have been more if I had known I could buy the 40 renown thing as I started lvling. I don’t see how it would be hard to get to 80 in 24 hours if you really go for it.
Torghast and dungeons.
Bearing in mind renown gain slows down as you get closer to 80 I just don’t see doing 40-80 in a day without the stomp, tbh.
Characters new to shadowlands can just buy the 40 renown item as they enter the shadowlands. Then you just level, should be close to 60 renown when you hit 60 and you can turn in the threads of fate quests for 3 renown each, totalling 12. So you’re at like 70 just from doing threads of fate quests and lvling if you buy the 40 renown item before you start. Then you can just do the covenant anima quest, shaping fates in korthia and then some covenant campaign and you’re at 80.

It was the above idea that you can run Torghast and dungeons for it that wasn’t sitting right. After 60, you tend to be around 1 renown every 2-4 dungeons, and that’s a lot to plough through.
I just ran layer 9 torghast until at renown 73 I didn’t get one from the run. Then do callings and other weekly stuff and maybe a couple of m+ dungeons.
