Yes, what you suggest with having to farm some other currency would be fine. But I, for one, would be fine with no such requirement whatsoever. It just doesn’t matter.

On fights, they will have to retune Kruul in particular by more than just numbers. Because his knockback-off-the-platform was compensated by using the artifact ability on the bear (wild charge was not enough by far).
Then again, I wouldn’t be surprised if the fights end up being a s**tshow with them claiming that it’s going to be fine eventually - when everyone outgears them. (And for the bear, they can just say: go farm the legendary that copied the artifact ability, lol.)
I understand people are excited about the return of the Mage Tower - and don’t take me wrong, I welcome it as well. But it was imbalanced as all hell between the specs. So, I would expect it to be very imbalanced this time, too. ))
Grind is beside what has been said fulfillment, reason why i am against return . Imagine doing Korthia on twelve characters to get all skins ,and someone just get them from time-walking event.
That’s like getting transmog from old raids an expansion or two after. Perfectly fine with me. Look at it as just more content for your alts.
TThe reason why they removed legendaries quest line AND 5.3 quest line AND the whole Val of eternal blossom quest line from 5.0 was the same esact reason they give now about mage tower which is “We must not diminish the accomplishement of people being HERE back then”
I was here, i did all of these things, and i would actually do it AGAIN because i forgot many of the things that happenned in the actual stories…
But yeah blizzard loved and still “a bit” love to do this, to reove content and say that it was to “reward people who played back then” a form of elitism i dont like at all even if i did play these content…
They are doing this to make people think “oh no, if I unsub now, I will never be able to get this thing, so I will stay subbed even though I don’t really like it”. That’s the whole reason.
You fight it by ignoring their warnings of “this is going to be removed”. If something is removed later, treat it as something that does not exist in the game. Very effective. I crossed all mounts that are for limited editions that are no longer available bla bla bla off my lists. Works wonders. )) Change the rules of the game because if you let Blizzard dictate them, you will have a hard time.
I remember using lufa on that fight, and we still have it.
The artifact ability, the thing that makes you immune to knockbacks (and other forms of control). We have a copy of it in the legendary though, maybe they will just say “oh, right, you need to have that legendary”.
Nah,rage of the sleeper made you immune.

The warlock one is the exact same without the glow and the spikes on the shoulders so idk

My guess is that it will be very overtuned to start with and they’ll have to tweak it.

Stop whining about mUH PrEStIgE when vast majority of you (me included on ~15 specs out of 36) did MT when antorus gear was available (which was 50-60 ilvl above intended MT ilvl, since it was balanced around late NH/early TOS). Your prestige was gone the moment you did MT after 7.3 had been released.
Good job Blizzard, now bring back the rest of appearances and MoP/WoD CM/legendary questlines. Quit gatekeeping playerbase from obtaining cosmetic things for whatever reason you have - which is probably dumb because inconsistencies in what is getting removed and what isn’t suck. I can still do Shadowmourne/Cata daggers, but I can’t do cloak questline again (I’ve done it 7 times in MoP when I was a teenager and did not care about story). I wish I could, because cloak questline is vital in MoP’s history and I would like to redo it again, just to relive the lore. But no, I have to watch it on youtube instead because you pulled the plug for whatever reason. D U M B.
Yup, that’s a safe bet. Because undertuning is a fatal mistake (ends the content), while overtuning isn’t.
I agree with all of your post, myself, i didnt want to look “arrogant” but i mean, i did MoP Challenge as realm first (you can check my FoS if anyone dont beleive me) and still i want the CM mogs to come back for other people to enjoy these cool sets
Can someone explain to me, what is the difference between a player who earned the Mage tower Artifact appearances during Legion and those who would earn it during Timewalking (considering it will be balanced equally difficult)?
Both are the same achievements, if someone has earned the werebear skin, what difference does it make, in what year it happend?
I think many players who complain about keeping it exclusive are only pissed of, because they had to farm Nethershards, which will feel like a waste of time then. But that is nothing new in WoW.
Having a 1-week window every 5 month (6 TW Events, every 3.5 weeks = 21 weeks), where you need to retrain your routine is in fact a bigger challenge. While in Legion the Mage tower was up all the time for many weeks in the end.
Seems like there is a high demand for the Mage Tower Artifact appearances.
I would be fine with having two conditions for the return of MT appearances:
Its funny cauz I more or less left my druid after acquiring the MT appearances so now might brush him off again. Im with mixed feelings over it not being my favourite class but then also this giving me a reason to revisit him.
