Reopening the Mage Tower with Legion Timewalking in 9.1.5

This. I hate the Kul Tiran moonkin form so I have to use the glyph of stars. Something different (even the default Alliance moonkin really) would be nice for a change.

It would be nice if we could choose our moonkins colours too and some other things.

You’re welcome, sounds like you need fiber, you seem constipated.

If you can’t see how a minority of “gate keeping” people advocating for exclusivity instead of the overall betterment of the game has been going on for year, then yes indeed I have a wasted my time. Worry not, 9/10 visits to this forums are so nothing new here.

Betterment of the game isn’t handing out stuff to the baby throwing a tantrum just to shut him up.

You missed out; deal with it mate

genuinely haven’t, I was there and got my frost one, which looks awesome. there’s just so many good looking thematic weapons, the blizzard art team really outdid themselves on this front. Why punish all the players who are playing a different spec or class?

This “deal with it” attitude doesn’t make you tough of cool, it just make you an elitist, gate keeping snob.

It was a reward for playing a spec at a decent level at that time. There is no need to bring it back, ever.

No.

Just turn it around.
Blizzard should just make all the skins available again.
Let those people who don’t like that, ‘deal with it’.

Nor is there a need to maintain the restrictions set in place, what, four years ago.

I did the Mage Tower. Did the MoP challenge modes. Will those experiences and my gear vanish into a cloud of smoke if others were allowed to try the same? Not really, no.

I just hope I can get that new Mage Transmog set, by killing the big Momma Demon lady.

I’m having my doubts though…but I feel like Gollum wanting the One Ring.
I needs it (the new Mage transmog set from the Mage Tower.)

For you not, for many yes.

It’s clear who missed out on some skins here in this thread.

And this “just give it to me” attitude makes you look like an entitled whiner begging for charity.

yeah, and what about Feral druids? 1/5th of our available forms (and arguably the best looking ones) are still being gated. Fun playing a feral main for 10 years and being completely unable to access these skins while some people have them on their alts they never use, only due to missing the MT patch in legion.

Sure, the snowflakes don’t have to take the L, but instead you’re giving it to every other seasoned druid player who happened to miss this specific patch.

Just give us a difficult (even if its way more difficult than the original MT) challenge to obtain these, or even gate them behind character time /played for all its worth. It’s not like we’re taking away the skins of the people who earned these in Legion.

Should remove the fel werebear as it’s only purpose is making people even more mad. :d

why? the smarter option is to just realize that time-gating significant appearance changes (especially for druids, since new ones never come out) is not a good move, and release all of them as a reward for a series of difficult challenges, if not TW Mage tower. People are mad, because this is designed to create FOMO and makes anybody who missed out feel bad. Skill-gating is a lot better, since it gives people something to work towards.

Not perse. I’ve seen several comments from people stating they have the skins and yet want them to be available for others. I personally only have 1 skin. And I’m only interested in 1 other skin. But I just think this way of doing it reeks of inequality.

Never said that. Bring the challenge back. Make it as hard as possible, make sure it means the same thing it meant back in Legion. Hell make it harder, scale it up with ilvl so it’s never irrelevant and you can’t just one shot it next tier or expansion. So all the players who rock these appearances can also wear them as a statement of their abilities.

But I guess narrow minded, selfish individuals like you are too content with “should have been there at the right time, now this is exclusive to me, tough luck” to think a little bit outside of the box.

Redesign something every patch to keep it relevant forever?

Sure, that sounds realistic to a resource constrained company.

Jesus dude, do you think the world revolves around you?

Seems like my entitled whiner assessment is holding up.

You’ve clearly never heard of ever green content have you? And you know how numerical adaptations happen all the time? Or the fact that this game is called “world of warcraft” not “world of current expansion”?

“Resource constrained”?? Here’s an idea, don’t spend resources designing stupid systems that get dumped after every patch which nobody likes. “Redesigning something every patch to keep it relevant forever” is basically what talents are. It’s what classes are. You know what isn’t sustainable? Designing elaborate instanced content which will inevitably get dumped.

The fact that you think that I’m asking these for myself only shows that you still don’t get what this is about. You think that some rando wants something he doesn’t have. In reality, this is about the game lacking severely in challenging non instanced end game content.

So yes my “assessment” of you not being able to think outside of the box, is definitely “holding up”!

Oh please. You’re all about the rewards, now its suddenly a ‘lack of challenging non instanced content’

If you’re going to shamelessly move the goalposts, mage Tower is instanced, not non instanced content.

And no, mage tower isnt ‘ever green’ its do it once and its done. Exoecting it to be held open forever just till you cba to do it is arrogant and entitled. This isn’t just numerical adaptation, it’s about talents and legendaries that were available back then that conferred things other than just numbers.
