I’ve been thinking lately, the night elves got barbequed by the horde and got nothing in return.
Its mighty cold outside in the winter especially with no home, and a vulpera fur coat sure would be nice…

Why should they get something in return? It’s a shame it was night elves and not gnomes getting bbq’d though.
You got undercity, despite being made inhospitable by Sylvanas.
shut up and make me a coat, yiffox
Night elves should be getting Gilneas!
Gilneas is fab, I hate that we never get to go back after levelling, there is enough of it above water that it could be made a nice hub.
Plus they could return the favour of a temporary home to the Night Elves, after they allowed the Worgen to reside in Darnassus.
It got washed over like Azshara. So much potential in storytelling, the depth, the feelings, emotion and pain. The recovery, thousand ways to deal with it, thousand ways to see it. Oh, patch is over guys, THAT’S THAT! Azshara next! They killed her, GREAT WELL DONE GUYS. GNOMEREGAN NEXT MAN
They’re not gnomes, they’re gnomes with metal extensions! Allied race!
But god beware, display someone’s private life and problems correctly just to make this the main story of an entire World. One single character, Jaina Proudmoore, deserves it, ladies and gentlemen. We treat this as Warcraft 3 whenever we want to, and add shop mounts and skip creativity whenever needed. They don’t notice, nobody will remember.
A cinematic will suffice, screenshot artstyle transitions, fill the camera with the entire face. Chapter closed.
This is how the wars in wow work. War starts → both factions get stuff removed → war ends.
I’m not sure of reparations as any peace deals aren’t really signed yet, but as far as i’m aware Tyralyon is the current Commander of the alliance
and
He will be reconquering Eastern kingdoms territories, and solidify the alliance
So who knows, Its just a shame that such a beautiful city got destroyed for nothing, just a patch smh
in order to get reparations from another “country”(city-states in wow) you need a hard political strength by a strong, charismatic and inspiring leader.
the night elves lack all of these since their leaders went dark.
the jews got lifetime-reparations from the germans because israel’s first leader pushed the germans to do so.
no one will make it happen but the night elves themselves.
It does however suck as the basis for a videogame war, because it shrinks the world every time one faction loses a city.
Not that anyone ever goes anywhere but Orgrimmar/Stormwind/Oribos now. Only see Ironforge a couple of times per year when there’s a seasonal event there.
Sad, really, I miss when you could pick the city you liked most and make it your home
This is why we need silver moon in havoc and it’s population “reshaped” , they took part and made fun of the kadorei’s demise and the maniac who made it comes from their homeplace.
it is justice and our chance to kill millions of those virmens now that lil wrynn is done for is our chance fr vengeance ^_^!
i am awaiting my chance calmly if not from Tyrande vengeance, with Anduin’s death chaos will rise once again we will be able to justify murder and march on our ennemies as we should have, i want more of their blood and their cities obliterated !
Well now, lets be fair, Darnassus must have been a pretty chilly place to live, being so high up and all, the wind chill factor must have been something fierce. Evidently all the Horde did was introduce the idea of ‘Central Heating’ to the Kaldorei…
Lets be fair, -Nobody- got Undercity, I mean sure, the Forsaken lost it, but nobody can exist there anymore, even the Undead…
I mean…You’re not wrong. The Game is pretty much a prolonged cat fight between Jaina and Sylvanas right now, why, I do declare, it is almost as if two of their favoured creative types have an unhealthy obsession with those characters…
We never really see any reparations in game anyway, actually, we kind of did once, when the Horde was forced to remove troops from some areas after the Siege of Orgrimmar, but that was never really shown in game because, well, it would suddenly mean low-level Horde had less questing opportunities than Alliance, so I can kind of see from a games mechanics point of view why they wouldn’t want to do that.
As it stands, it is a horrible stalemate.
Alliance should be able to reclaim Gilneas, as Jaina can just wave away Blight apparently, and it would restabilise things, as the Goblins have Bilgewater Harbour, though in fairness they would need to revamp both cities a bit to make them actually workable and functional. Darkshore is reclaimed by the Kaldorei, Lordaeron is technically still under the control of it’s rightful inhabitants, the Forsaken, just it’s a Blighted dump.
Well, that would technically be an ‘Evil’ act for the Alliance to carry out. It is currently in the hands of it’s legitimate people and rightful denizens. -One- sin’dorei freelance mercenary took part in the War, and there is no evidence that the Sin’dorei found the destruction of Darnassus particularly funny or made mock of it.
Just a reminder, the maniac who -caused- Darnassus, was in fact a High Elf who was turned Undead. Perhaps you’d be better turning your Crusade on Stormwind, to get those pesky High Elves… Also, just saying, If we’re blaming living people for the genocidal Undead maniacs who are no longer part of their nation, the Alliance are -really- in no place to start throwing stones in their glass house…
They come from Pandaria, that is where you need to look for Virmen…
But yes, we must march and put a stop to their Carrot stealing ways, for certain
Alliance got to punch a hole in the Lordaeron keep. Period.
It was that witch Sylvanas that screwed the perfectly good ruins and it’s sewers below for her supposed people.
Can you just stop with your wierd hateful fetish with gnomes? It was funny only the first five times…
do wow really need another global war ? we just finished the fourth war. no one wants a fifth. (i dont think anyone can sustain it)
I do wish all the capital cities of the Horde/Alliance were equal. It would spread the playerbase out and why shouldn’t we be able to use them all equally.
We already finished it some months ago of course we need another war it is the world of warcraft not fabulousland.
All of those who were involved when the kaldorei were incinerated should be taken revenge on the undead are just a start albeit a good one.
Yes,yes some people wants a fifth war, where there is a will(and there is a bigger will for bloodshed that you may think) there is a way !
No matter how you turn things around, with queen tyrande on the run and all of those who particped in the genocide of her people not taken care of and her people being genocided you aren’t gonna see the end of this.
the best revenge for a genocide is rebuild, stronger than ever. the enemy gave up everything to destroy, only to see you rise. there is no better satisfaction than that.
Demagogy, there is no better satifaction for people who think like you do correction, revenge and it’s pursuit is a very satisfying in intself ; it felt good when the barkcaller felt, good yet far from enough.
If you think Tyrande is gonna let things go with her people and Teldrassil being wiped you are dreaming.
