@Opet, and anyone else only seeing the problem on a single character, please can you try using the WoW Character Stuck workflow to try moving your character to a new location to see if that helps.

For anyone else, we’ve noticed a number of these reports are from players using the Com Hem Swedish ISP network, which is being investigated internally, please don’t worry. Having said this, based on the WinMTR results that were posted above would anyone using this ISP please also consider contacting their ISP Support department to report the high Peak Latency and Packet Loss reported in the tests in case there is anything they can do for you from their side.

Put through a tech report to Com Hem earlier today, they are investigating on their end already.

i get dc every 5mins and i just noticed 1 of them is at the exact same place everytime without fail when flying from hinterlands to undercity on the flightpath as soon as i cross zones and enter western plaguelands dc, the rest of the time its random but has never happend in a dungeon as yet

i’m getting the same thing have been for 2 weeks did all the things .
I’ve even got a new ether net card /cable still nothing has changed
getting fed up now

3 times today so far 10 mins in game 50 mins and 1 hr a lot off times its on a fp or drinking water

same thing here.
been disconnected every 5 minues!
did all the suggested steps and it is not helping.

how are you expecting us to play?

Any updates on this? I am also using Com Hem and am still having upwards of 30 dcs per day. Have tried all of the recommended steps dns restart no addons yada yada. Nothing helps, I just keep dcing. Would really appriciate if you could update what the internal investigation results are.

Happening to me too, but not com helm, I’m in the UK on Scottish Hydro Electric ISP instead.
It’s making it not really possible to play the game.
A blue post in a thread I made on it suggested trying IPv6, but nothing changed.
Issue seems to be the ips on the et-0-0-2 hostnames

Just checking in to say I’m also having this issue, on the TalkTalk ISP in the UK. I haven’t been able to do a WinMTR test yet (will try in the next couple of days), but my experience is consistent with the other reports here, and trying all the suggested fixes hasn’t worked so far.

Would really appreciate an update on what’s happening (if anything), as it’s making my very limited game time pretty unbearable.

Update from ComHem:

They seem to have found the fault and also seem to have fixed the problem.
Many ComHem customers are now reporting their connection with WoW is fine now.

If you are still having a problem with this disconnection issue, please get in contact with ComHem and provide as much information as you can.

I would also advise other people not using ComHem with this problem to contact their ISP and explain the issue, also get hold of Blizzard as well and see which route fixes the issue.

i found that disabling the xbox streaming thing in windows seems to have fixed it for me touch wood

Just had a DC again (been free from it for 2-3 days) (i got comhem). Called them and they are monitoring it.

Which one is that? The XBOX game bar thingy? I’ve disabled that one and still getting DCs, but not sure if there’s another one.

Also, what I’ve been doing to avoid disconnects while waiting for this issue to be fixed, is creating a hotspot via my phone and playing over 4G.

I appreciate not everyone can do this, but Classic doesn’t use a lot of data, and the connection is surprisingly stable. I didn’t notice any lag at all in about 90 minutes playtime last night, and no DCs! Only used 17.5mb of data as well.

There’s the WinMTR test, which looks similar to the others posted. Surprisingly I didn’t actually disconnect during this test, so I don’t know if something’s been fixed?

its that xbox thing that shows all the games u have but it doesnt make a diffrence i even uninstalled it still getting dcs they is nothing else i can do now its not my end ive been onto virgin media about it and they said they cant find anything wrong.l

After a weekend of a stable connection (using my regular wifi) I’ve had another disconnect this evening with the same error. I sort of hoped it was fixed but no luck unfortunately.

This issue is still happening, admittedly less frequently, but there are multiple dcs every day still. Any news on the faulty node? Just posting that an internal investigation is pending without giving us any update on what came off it doesn’t really help much.

This is matter that drives me crazy, seriously. I DC up to 10 times in one evening. It never ever happens when I’m in combat or fighting.
Every DC occurs when: I’m on bat, standing still chatting or ghostrunning.

My guild mates are all baffled by this. I have tried as others to disable addons and so on, with no luck what so ever. I literally have no clue what more to do. My hubby has zero problem.

same for me crossing zones,mining,fishing,crafting something or stand still for a few secs, i never get dc when fighting or dungeons its doing my ***** head in now, been onto my isp they say nothing is wrong, tried with addons on and off disabled all background stuff i give up and its only this game it happens with
