So, I’ve been catching up on old content (wasn’t able to play for a long time cos my old computer was awful) before jumping into the current content, as I am a casual player and care more about the story, don’t care about endgame stuff at all. However, the replenish the reservoir quest is confusing, I’ve done world quests and a dungeon, yet I have harvested no anima at all so it’s still at 0/1000, what am I supposed to do with this stupid quest?
This quest is about looting anima-items, no matter what it is - looting them is counted as progress. You don’t need actually deliver anima to your covenant to finish quest.
Not every world quest is giving you anima, pay attention to the rewards.
Im not sure, but i don’t think that Shadowlands dungeons have anima-rewards.
Best way to do this quest for casual player is to head to normal difficulty Shadowlands Raid and kill the bosses. At first kill in the week, bosses will drop couple of anima, it should be enough to finish this quest.
Rare mobs also drop couple of anima, rare chests contains anima.

I got it done by doing world quests in other Shadowlands zones, go figure.
