why dont you engage these warriors in the thread?

do you think they will mass flag you comments

I agree, but I have also seen posts where a hunter is mid tame on a rare and had someone come and pull aggro and kill the rare, for an achievement. What I am saying is that Blizz set this system up, they know it will divide players yet they don’t fix it they continue with this system, which to me means they do want this conflict.

So complaining that a hunter tames is just as irrelevant as the hunter complaining that somebody killed the rare. What I disagreed with in Yeha’s post is the fact that he blames the hunters for wanting a tame and resorts to childish name calling, sad really.

Adding to this, Rustfeather wasn’t tameable originally (being mechanical, but still not tameable) so its been changed.

I’m not sure if Rotfeaster was never tameable, apparently he wasn’t on the PTR.

But as said previously, both of these have much less rare versions with the same skin.

Soundless is just unfortunate for being the only one with his colouration.

True I haven’t tamed them on my hunter, as you say there is no need. Soundless has the unique colouration as you say and yes I tamed him on my hunter - let the hate begin

This bug is in game since bfa started same with drinking bug. You think people didn’t report this bug?

Some posters have had their share of clashes in the past, and it often shows in the various threads - they don’t have to adress them by name anymore

They counter flagg and attack each other when they can get away from it.

Don’t think too muh off it

fair enough, I prefer the Argus mana rays personally.

I do have the purple snapdragon rare on my nightborne. But that one doesn’t drop a mount.

I have also fought over Loq’nahak because my now-ex and I wanted him for the bloody rare achievement and another hunter wanted to tame him (I found him first anyway).

You are talking about the aggro bug, I wasn’t referring to this I was referring to the way Blizzard have set this up, they make a rare tameable you have to then know that hunters will want to tame. They make this same rare to also have the chance of dropping a mount, so players will want this too. Why blame the hunters? Why can’t the hunters blame you for killing it for a mount?

As I said earlier, if they made this rare just drop a mount (not tameable) and then made a mob with the same skin for hunter tames, problem would be solved. So again who is at fault?

And this is how it’s always been Croecell, people wanting a rare for different reasons. What I was saying is why is your desire for an achievement less of a priority for you than a hunter tame? It’s not and it’s foolish to argue that it is. And why is a hunters desire to tame a pet any less of a priority for them, it’s not and it’s foolish to argue that it is.

And yet that is what everyone is arguing, who has the most right to this rare

Edit: Glad you got the achievement btw

No, I get it, I do!

In the end, 2 people got another notch on their Bloody Rare achievement.

its annoying, sure if a hunter tames the rare you have gotten a raid group to try and kill for a mount and its a little douchey if you join the group who you know want to kill it and then tame it under their noses.

but an outside of the raid hunter can do that anyway.

its just crappy for both sides that its the way it is.

Thank you!

Everybody knows you don’t need a raid group for it, but it makes the argument against tames stronger so that’s why it’s used.

It helps add fuel to the fire

And then people run with it

And on that note, I’m going to mention I’m MM in every mecha or nazja group I apply to.

We don’t need no pet b*tch.

Reporting your troll posts is never a bad thing.

I don’t even join groups, if I see a rare, I kill a rare.

You want the mount I get that, but that doesn’t change the fact that BM Hunters want the pet. I would also like the mount, drop rate is low though so I will kill it whenever I am around and it’s up, I don’t camp it.

I have no problem with people wanting cool pets, I completely get it. I hoard battle pets and never use them.

What I mean is if this does spark a rejection of hunters over pets I will make sure to point out that I am MM and won’t take the rare.

Unless retributor is there. Then the pet is getting tamed anyway.

I do hope they fix this.Since they did just recently made it so you cant poly Soundless to heal it with mages, you need to drop combat to achive it.
I also got kicked from Soundless group on my hunter, insta.Since there is alot of trolls/grifers in game i cant say i blame them probably why they even rolled out with the mage poly fix, people probably abused Soundless raids.

Mm can tame pets.

Another big problem is the inconsistency.

So, we can tame Soundless, Rotfeaster and Rustfeather (with the last 2 having that model elsewhere to tame)

Yet we can’t tame Stormhowl yet because he’s too high levelled? (a lightning worg with a unique colouration)

They probably did Blurey and I am not saying it’s fair. But I have in the past seen posts from hunters complaining that they were mid tame of a rare and somebody killed it for an achievement, this is also not fair!!

But it is the way Blizzard have set this up, they have now done the same with Soundless, made it so people want the mount and hunters also want the pet. I don’t understand how one side is right (lets say the mount collectors) and the other is wrong (the pet collectors). Each side has a legitimate reason for farming the rare, the only wrong I personally see is in how it was set up as it is set up to cause friction.

So these ‘flaming’ posts calling hunters ‘ninja’s’ or solely blaming them for wanting a pet is as ridiculous as it would be if I made a thread calling everybody else ninja’s for wanting a mount and stopping tames
