I see no evidence to the contrary, therefore I cannot be proven incorrect. Find me some evidence and I will withdraw my argument as incorrect. He talks in blanket statements, and refers to the whole class when saying they should not be invited.

Please, show me anything on this thread which proves me incorrect.

I would expect better from you and see it as a problem and issue in game,given the other points that where presented also,disregard the hunter facts and focus and acknowledge the abusive/trolling part of his post for the 39+ people that are victims cause of this.

I always think this. Here is a mount dropping rare, I know what, lets make it tameable by hunters so that it causes conflict in the community.

An easy solution would be to fix this bug to stop possible abuse.And give a skin to some random mob.

So to avoid such situations just never invite those again. If they’re mount farming they can use another alt, if they’re worried about this non invitations policy they should complain on Twitter

This doesn’t fix the problem though, lets consider this scenario it’s 3am I am on my hunter and taming this mob, you arrive and aggro the mob (as bug is fixed now) I don’t get the tame, is this also an abuse that you can aggro when a hunter is mid tame? What I have debated throughout this post is that a rare should not drop a mount and also be tameable as a pet. Blizzard made the system this way, so it’s a fault that they should look at, it’s not the fault of the player who wants the mount, or the player who wants the tame.

Just took another look through and I would like to apologise for my confrontational approach to you Blurey. I got a little caught up in what I saw as standing up for my class, and that impacted on my ability to present a rational argument.

I do not regret what I said, but I acknowledge that it could have been worded more impartially. At the end of the day, it’s a design flaw, and hunters or indeed any group should be blamed for it.

The only griefing that seems worthwhile is flying a TLPD around Storm Peaks, and even then I’ve resisted the temptation, even thought it’d be funny AF

Sorry was on my way home,and i had to look around the thread to get a clear sight.I think you should have expressed this stance more often, a problem is present and it should be solved sticking with that argument would paint your view better.Because as i said i do not agree with everyone and everything on these forums(and i was sure Retri hates horde) but i read through the fact that there is a problem.
Also i am not justifying me,but every time you adressed to me you made it like you are oke with people trolling 39 + people who join the Soundless kill.

Funny you mention this 2 days ago(as i was doing the argent tournament grind) i was flying through Storm Peaks and a guy was afk on the Proto drake…i spilled my coke.

I can go one better. Got me drake just by walking out of Ulduar. Had to follow it for about 2 mins before I could land in range. When I managed to down it I felt like I was about to have a heart attack XD

Congratulations…it is an awful grind when it comes to tlpd.It is the last one to cross it from the list tlpd,aoenox,voidtalon,poundfist for me.If only there was no vyragosa xD

Well, since only the hunter needs to tame this pet, yes, it’s a hunter problem. They should ask for example for another rare, identical with Soundless, that doesn’t has a achievement or mount tied to it and has the role to be a “hunter specific rare” just to be tamed.

So as you put it, some idiot comes along and kills such a rare for an achievement when a hunter has camped this for a tame? So tell me who is the douche?

If you would read the entire post + the WoWhead section about this topic, you would know that this is the issue: there is a bug where hunter can tame this rare and ignore overdmg by other players or even kick from groups.
So yea, the hunter is the douche, especially if he does that in a group and abuses the bug. Am i right?

The problem is some people have issues when it comes to feedback on these forums so they wage wars and troll threads/posters,quite vindictive abusive behavior.

Have you seen how Ret speaks to people on the forums ?
Have you seen how he is ingame during raids ?
I have and it is not nice at all .
He regularly calls people foul names and wonder why he is flagged .
However rares that drop mounts should not be tameable BUT there should be a version open to hunters .
