Because the only way to do so is by accoung sharing which is against TOS. You are free to write a ticket to anyone that confesses that he got boosted that way or avertises such services in any chat.
Please donât make tickets to report cheating though, there is a right click in game feature or you can send information to a dedicated email address. Clogging up the support system with tickets would be detrimental to those actually seeking help.
Itâs not cheating, you shouldnât be using the report cheating thing for a ToS violation.
Ticketing is the wrong thing. Tickets are for support.
Reporting people is not done via support. If you donât personally want to class getting someone else to do your Mage Tower challenge as âcheatingâ then call it what you like but support tickets are not the right place for it.
Neither is the report cheating.
If you look at another example, the zone/area disruption thing, they say to use the âmost appropriate optionâ from the things to report from when you right-click, which option is this? Cheating? No, thatâs not cheating to engage in zone disruption. Name? Nope, not a name violation. Language? Nope.
None of the options they present fit for these things.
You clearly dontâ want to accept that the support ticketing is the wrong place to report this. Nothing I say or do will make you see sense.
So all I can do is encourage people to do it correctly. Via the email report or right click in game.
Game violations are cheating.
Imagine buying mage tower boost and getting banned for account sharing.
Theyâre not really going to do anything about it. Itâs exceedingly rare to get banned for account sharing. I know someone who has been doing it a long time. They have 2 WoW accounts on one b.net account so they can get everything the other gets thatâs account wide and theyâve been doing this since MoP. Even being online at the same time, in 2 different towns. Sure isnât suspicious to Blizzard.
I remember someone sharing that the services for these were being advertised in game, with the current overly hard difficulty those services will only seem more appealling to people. Same as people went back to buying gold from gold sellers on Classic realms when there was no token.
Not a good idea IMO to share your account. Apart from the obvious rule breaking and risking your account, I just wouldnât want some total stranger on my precious!
Half the ladder in tbc got recently banned due to piloting. So they take this part at least seriously and I assume shadowlands is similar.
Imagine buying a boost for MT and still fail
