Is it really worthy waste my time clicking on report bot?
Every day they are farming at Brightwood Grove the werewolves and skining them but nothing happens. Is always the same characters.
Farm them and farm the mobs. If they are alliance , call some horde from discord and show him where they are so he can farm them and you farm your mobs … its just pointless to report as when they get banned ( IF they get banned) will be replaced asap :S your best thing is to kill them and pray for some technical marvel that can be more successful. To the ppl that will say " you have to report them its the only way , blizz counting on this " thats just dumb. Bots are so many , they are thousands … ppl should stop play and sit and report all day. I pay to play not to work for blizzard.
PS: reporting as a tool is good, but first they need to make the effort and hire the needed employees they fired years ago when they left the whole game automated. Disgusting a billion dollar company is willing to spend 0 for salaries and leave everything automated and expect us to report 24/7! Activision =/= Blizzard North… pure clowns. The company was less rich and did a lot more back then…
connecting people over discord to farm bots is even more pointless than reporting i think but everything is better than doing nothing.
the community should push posts to make this theme bigger because the solution is so easy and yes… blizzard has to put GM’s on the servers to actively ban the bots. no ban waves you need to ban them every day!! and thats it

Killing them to annoy bot owners and to be able to farm the mobs that are being farmed by automated cretins ;p it wont fix anything thou ,but it will enable op to farm and annoys the owner after 8 hrs his bots farmed 0 stuff lol

the number of bots and the impact it has is just way too big. i play this game for almost 2 decades man and this is just absolute insane.
Assuming that actual ban messages by blizzard are real then yes reporting does “something”.
I usually have 4-5 messages each week that a bot I reported got banned.
Reported a lvl 17 rogue with a name like Fnpfgh and a few days later got a mail with ”Your report lead to actions taken”
I get around 1 mail per 20 reports. The most egregious non-actioned reports are rogue/druid bots with like 10,000 medium leather posted on AH.
They out there just doing a bit of normal farming i guess according to blizz.
For over a month.
Some people don’t know how to report and some don’t even know there are bots in the game. Do we have a guide about this issue on wowhead and here in forum?
If not then someone with good knowledge should make a guide about this to make the report system even more effective.
My experience about bots in wotlk is some of them have weird name, no guild, mostly paladin for crusader aura speed (not in sod), small route to farm, bad gears, no replay when whispered, all day same spot, huge amount of mats in AH, some of them farm dungeons for raw gold and boe’s.
Frankly, these reports are almost useless.
Even if they are acted on - that usually happens WAY too late anyway, long after the bot has already turned profit.
Please dont do this. They have bot army and if you interact with them, they will understand and mass report you. You will get suspension maybe you will be banned. And if you face with 2000 iq GM, he will tell you
“so everybody is wrong and you are right, I wont remove suspension.”
You need to spend days to be able to get your account back. Just report them and move. Of course till they get banned they will earn profit for 5x account. But this is small indie companys free to play game. What do you ask more ?
im just at a point where i dont wanna play anymore. i tried it over and over again but beeing in duskwood at 5am and seeing the area packed with loads of bots that steal everything i can get and fight every mob i can fight, is just not fun! its getting me angry and thats why i stop now. 
hate to say that cause im addticted and i wanna play! but this is crazy
If they banned them the moment you reported them they would get better at not being caught by players. It’s why they are banned in waves so the botters have a harder time figuring out how they got caught.
Blame the botting problem on players buying gold, though. They are the ones causing the botting problem. If no one bought gold, there wouldn’t be any bots.
If you aren’t doing your part, how can you complain about it?

I am doing my part by giving Blizzard 13 Euros a month.

It takes less time to report 10 bots than it does to write a comment complaining about them in the forums. Again it’s the fault of gold buyers.

I do not feel compelled after a workday to continue working for Blizzard for free.
They need to fix their sh1t and it’s not my duty or obligation as a player to cosplay as a GM without powers for less than free and a thank you for being a good citizen mail from a 70 billion dollars company that got bought by a trillion dollars company that can’t get its sh1t together.
