Reporting AFK bots in Epic BGs make me a "bad guy"

Yea it’s ridiculous. About a year ago when you got those 2 mounts from the BGs there were a ton of afkers and if you mentioned in the chat people mass reported you for being afk.

This was on the Alliance side. People were abusing the map bug and went outside so you could not even report the afkers

Nice system you have there Blizzard along with corrupt fanbase who protects the afkers instead of those few who try to play the game

Try going to the loo if you have gut pain.

[Good ideas 20p] :stadium:

It’s not so bad on Alliance with instant queues.

On Horde, with larger queues, everybody has had an experience of joining an in-progress game (usually a losing one), because a bot has been removed.

If you call out a bot in a Horde team, people come to its defense and say “don’t kick it, because then somebody else is going to take its place and waste their queue”.

Bots are herpes.

You have no need to say anything in chat. You can directly report him/her.

I have done battleground when you were in my group :

  • Someone make a call 2 people inc Blacksmith : You start to be toxic as hell and you report / ignore them calling them bot spammer.
  • Someone is beginner in healing dps : You start to be toxic against them for not playing .
  • We loose : You start to blame the team.

I’m sorry but if there’s a reason you are silenced it’s because of language.

It’s not because you signal that guys because he’s afk.
but because you are toxic in the tchat merely 80% of battlegrounds i have done with you. It’s undrinkable.

I’m not defending people Leeching or anything.
But you have to watch your languages.

And weird you are complaining about that when you have admitted you do the same technics before.

But yea leecher are annoying.
Beginner / defender / someone you do not like are not.

I know exactly how it works. What you linked is irrelevant as that is organised.
We are talking about one person.
Also common sense would point at that for OP to be targeted and kicked for trying to report an AFK he would have had to point out, in chat, that he reported the AFK.

What? It’s literally common sense. It’s literally mathematics. He said he kicks them 90% of the time, then said they’re AFK start to end in every BG. Explain how that makes sense?

You’re throwing away common sense just to be nice and give OP the benefit of the doubt.

He tried to attack my character first, I have every right to point out that OP is a known thread spammer and baiter.
Pretty sure he complains a lot about Ashran and epic BGs “falsely” kicking him all the time too.

Definitely not what’s going on, but at least you gave a good example of what a strawman means.

What is happening here in reality is people are telling OP not to say anything to/about the person he is reporting.

Actually the real players play the same at 50 epic BGs on weekends. 2 epic BGs yesterday ~half of the raid stay AFK at graveyard and do nothing. They only moveback if getting killed and thats all. And this is going the same every weekend if there is no RL or premade in epic BG.

Does that looks fair to you?

The AFK bot is just sitting there and collect the same amouth of XP and honor as you - who actually mash some buttons and try to play the game. And the same guy is 24/7 AFK-ing in BGs… Why Blizz dont do anything about this?

And why nobody even report this guys AWAY? If I sit AFK for 3-4 mins I got the “cow” Idle icon and Im kicked in a min… but this guy is there 24/7 in every Epic BG ~40+ mins long on the starting point without moving…

It’s kinda weird to think almost every time I’ve been kicked from BGs it’s for asking the team to report someone that either hasn’t moved or is intentionally not playing as AFK. I think it’s a weird thing that you can be instantly removed from a BG if enough people report you too, even while in combat. Only happened a handful of times but I pretty much gave up on random bgs anyways.

You can get banned tho mistaking a mbox with a bot.

Have you not heard Billie Jeans latest tune? The bad guy is synonymous with the “good looking guy”
So report all these AFK people

I imagined blizz actually acting upon people afking in (e)bgs, but starting to doubt that now. There are 2 horde players drum*** something and fish*** something that just keep showing in ebgs. This has been going on for at least 6 weeks and I’ve seen them as recently as a few days ago. They’ve been kicked for afking every single time I’ve seen them, yet continue to be able to queue up.

Got people kicking those that actually lead an ebg “because they spam too much”…

I think they already fixed this. Ive noticed the AFKers are being kicked out auto after 2 mins of inactivity in the past few days. The AFK leecher is also gone.

I hate these 2 druids in my group just now though…

Just had that x2 druids in my last epic bg, i called em out and they got instantly kicked out.

Just had them again, kicked, but still… Blizzard not taking this seriously.

They really should put this “2 or some mins inactivity” automatic report for AFK feature if its not already in the game. Its just so annoying to check the map and report the AFK-not-moving-leechers.

Yeah, some of you will say “why do you care, just play your game”. But it really bugging most of the guys and these AFKers really destroy your chances to win and your instanced PvP experience.

So fun when u get ashran and both druids rush ? mark on map just so u can’t right click on map to report em, they are 100% bots doing same things every bg, same pattern always, blizz don’t care it’s simple.

I’ve contacted support and they’ve told me to let them know if I see them again in ebgs, so I’m guessing they are looking into it
