Reputation Paragon Caches

After getting reputations max in dragonflight you get the paragon caches which require 7500 (3 levels) bare inmind shadowlands you got 4.5k gold per cache, chance of a mount etc.

The rewards from these caches are pathetic.
1k gold, a few proffesion materials, some pet charms and health pots. Bit lackluster if I’m being honest.

No reason whatsoever to do any world quests after reaching max level with your reputations.

I really do not understand Blizzards mindset about these very poor rewards. I like many others use to do all world quests every week because the rep caches were worth it, now theres just no point.

This and callings are something I miss from shadowlands. The gold from them was great.

Rank 1 Health potions as well. Absolutely useless.

I just hope we don’t see any collectibles in the paragons. I have hated mounts and other collectibles/cosmetics dropping from Paragons. It just makes people have to farm rep long after they are done.

It could certainly reward a bit more gold and maybe some additional materials.

Add collectibles that require a currency and have the paragon chests drop a specific amount of the currency.

Blizzard is paranoid people will be swimming in gold, and pay for sub with tokens instead of cash. High repair costs already tell me everything.

They are basically saying that we do not need to ever get any more rep on max renown

Blizzard makes more money with tokens than with sub or gametime.

Yes. If you have a lot of gold, you buy token with that gold. Then you use to token to pay for the sub. But if you don’t have a lot of gold, you can’t buy token with that gold. And you gotta pay cash for the sub.

exactly the reason i quit playing at the start of bfa…rewards were poor. over the years blizzard has made it really easy to quit playing, hope they buff gold making little bit coz i want to keep playing.

paying for sub with gold is much more profitable…1 month sub 12 euro…1 month token 20 euro…do the math roflmao

Where did you get that crystal ball that told you the complete loot table?

God forbid we have to spend the other ~12x expac runtime casually accumulating faction rep, AMR? The pressure of aiming for yet another color variant of a mount is intolerable for those who want exaxctly that one, I guess.

No one is gonna buy gold and pay sub with it. Facepalm. You can just pay sub.

I’ve been getting the caches along with many others for over a month. There is plenty data out there saying whats in them.

Things like mounts, collectibles etc should just be on the relevant reputation quartermaster, they shouldn’t be used as make you play metrics with paragons.

People feel differently about Paragons, some love that kind of thing, I hate it with a passion.

And this is a good thing. But I’m still doing racing WQs for money they give.

Good. Just as it should be.
These things should be a little reward for doing stuff you’d do anyway. They shouldn’t be an endless rep grind for an RNG chance at a mount, recipe, pet or anything else particularly sort-after.

They could add a bit more gold or supplies I guess but not so much that they become almost mandatory.

Bliz make more actual money when players fund their subs with gold. The token has to be bought with real money before anyone can buy it for gold.

I like this change, paragon boxes were degenerate. They should have just removed the mechanism completely. It does feel a bit ‘rubbish’ getting one in this current state. Why can’t we just be ‘done’? (there is nothing wrong with it)

The point isn’t mounts etc its more the gold aspect. Other than 4 maybe 5 racing wqs there is no point doing wqs after reaching max rep.

Blizzard struggle keeping players. Alot of people play wow to gain gold, wqs in past exp were farmed for these caches for gold and the odd mount.

You may not like farming wqs but you’ll be very suprised how many actually do. Outside raiding and m+ and maybe the odd alt leveling there isn’t much else to do after doing your weekly activities other than farming gold.
