Simple question, because I can’t find any info about this.
In TBC Classic, will there be a reduction in gaining rep when you’re much higher level? Suppose you are level 10 and you do a quest that’s more than 5 levels lower, will you get less rep?
I know this is the case in Vanilla Classic, but will it be the same for TBC?
Uh… I think that what you’re saying was the case in TBC as well, but I’m not sure if it was changed in a later TBC patch, or even in the WotLK pre-patch. I clearly remember doing low lvl Durotar quests for rep on my 30-something Blood elf priest alt to get the wolf mount because I hated that ghastly chicken mount of theirs But I did this in WotLK, not TBC.
I funnily did the exact opposite in TBC - I had a male orc warrior, and i grinded the chicken mount, because it looked hilarious to me, with a big fat orc on that tiny bird’s back x)
I do remember spending lots of gold on runecloth, and farming runecloth like crazy. I might have gotten a bit of rep with quests, but as far as I remember, the rep was poop. This might have been patch 2.1 or maybe 2.2, i think?
There were also no level 30 mounts in the beginning of TBC, but there will be now. I remember it was reduced somewhere around the end of TBC. I also can’t remember rep reduction when I started playing, but that was half way through TBC.
So I suppose the rep reduction will be removed when TBC launches?
Maybe someone knows?
Otherwise, I guess I’ll have to see for myself next week.
