"Reputation will now become account-wide" - War Within Question

I just want to ask if anyone knows how they will address the new feature in War Within:

  • Reputation will now become account-wide.

I have some characters with one rep as low, one full and one medium filled. So if this QoL addition means ALL past reputation will be account wide as well (as it felt a little vague on what Reputation is involved)… how will it resolve this (and more for other players in this situation), as we spent months/weeks on some - just to see them wiped out somehow…

Does anyone have any insight/clarification?

They never clarified, so if I am to guess it’d probably be the characters with the highest in rep shared account wide… and not accumulative between all characters.

It won’t be all reputations account-wide from the first day. Initially, only War Within reputations will be account-wide which doesn’t have problems with existing characters due to not being in-game prior to this major change.

Yea, I was hoping that would be the case.

I had to ask because I wasn’t 100% sure how they would even consider the logistics of it all, if it involved ALL reputations.
