Calculating the reputation earned from a single quest in most dailies (e.g., Golden Lotus), you earn 134. Let’s say that the Golden Lotus only has 5 dailies (there are 8 because it also takes you to the second village), the total is 670. To get from Friendly to Honored you need 9 days, then 18 days from Honored to Revered, and then 31 days for Exalted, which adds up to 58 days. The pre-raid for many classes requires Honored for a single piece. It takes 9 days to get that piece when the raid comes out in 6 days? With maxed reputation, you get 54 dailies per day. Isn’t that excessive? Considering that there is no way to gain reputation in dungeons.

Just one note regarding revered to exalted part - you’ll have double rep at that point, so it’ll take a lil bit less, but yeah it’s very long
P.S i believe those who got to 90 at day 1 will kinda barely make it to honored
Don’t forget, that most pre raid rewards as you call them (having same ilvl as normal raid gear) were moved one rep tier down from exalted to revered in MoP Classic.
Just give tabards so we can dungeon grind the reps, we dont have time to do 60000 daily quests nowadays

For most casual out there you can wait for celestial prototol of Heroic+ dungeons. Rep farming only for thouse willing to enter the normal/heroic raids in 3 days.
Maths are off, and for some factions you also get more dailies

Yea the rep situation is a bit of a let down for alts.
I 100% dont mind the grind for main, but like i have tailoring on an alt, the good bag, takes 12 Imperial silk which i can live with, but also requires Exalted with the August Celestials, which i simply will never reach on an alt =/
id like to see something like once you get Exalted on your main, you can buy the tabard for dungeons for alts.

I agree. The rep grind is horrible in MoP.
The best thing would be account wide reputation. The thought of me having to grind reputation quests on multiple characters is daunting. And not for gear. For profession recipees.
At least make profession recipees account wide.

Can you explain me how you reached 5000 Golden Lotus in 6 days. I hit lvl 90 on day 2 after 24h and still I need to hit honored with Golden Lotus, so you did 90 few hours late the release?
Well i think some ppl hit 90 before dailies reset, so they might have had an extra round of quests, i got to 90 on day 1 (although in the evening basically), and i got my honored yesterday
Once you hit honored you get more dailies to do per day with golden lotus, plus also a one time storyline progressing quest that gives a decent chunk of rep.
Human, dmf, hozen pipe, and getting higher rep means more dailies and extra questline with rep too
Currently sitting at 17500 revered so i should be exalted tomorrow or wednesday
