I absolutely love hardcore. I’ve got few major issues though which I suspect would be fairly straight forward to implement given the framework is already there for them to exist.

ALLOW FOR PVP TRANSFERS ON ANNIVERSARY
We can already do it on era so why not allow for it on anniversary? I LOVE levelling HC but I have zero interest in playing on PVE server end game when I eventually die. The only reason I could think of why this was not enabled is because of faction balance, but surely there are solutions. Off the top of my head I can think of a couple. You can simply pause the players ability to transfer until there is an open slot, or put a level limit on transfers to PVP. You must reach 25-30 before meeting the criteria. -
RETAIN HC BUFFS WHEN REALM TRANSFERING
It really sucks that after dying on HC, your buffs vanish when you migrate to normal realms. Hitting 60 along with the sub buffs like soul of iron or completing each raid should be retainable as a trophy you can be proud to wear. This is world of warcraft where we all wear our achievements as a badge of honour. It’s so disheartening for it all your HC efforts to vanish. -
SOUL OF IRON VISUALS
Make the soul of iron buff visuals less distracting. Why not just have the characters eyes subtly glow permanently but something we can switch on and off at a HC NPC.
If these changes were added, HC would keep me active on classic for years to come.
And one last thing, as an additional bonus please consider adding new challenges to toggle when our character starts.
Some examples:
- Wear only greys
- Naked runs
- Hit 60 without completing any quests
