Respecting your players time

I realise there’s little chance anyone at Blizzard will actually read this or bring it up to the team but I think I speak for many when I say we are tired of the lack of communication between the WoW team, especially the SOD team and the players.
At the moment for most players in SOD there’s a severe content draught which has been the case for a majority of the end-game experience.
Whilst Blizzard might like to pat themselves on the back in a 10minute video because they added 2 copy-pasted zones into instances there’s a severe lack of things to do outside of your weekly Naxx and Scarlet Enclave runs.
Credit where credit’s due - I think most of us DO actually like Scarlet Enclave however once the raid is cleared each week, I think a lot of us are finding reasons to do other content out of boredom than doing it for any form of reward.
A lot of us also don’t want to play the same game from 2004 again, don’t want to keep levelling alts to do the same content again and are generally bored and uncertain as to what’s coming next.
It’s insulting that we are constantly left in limbo, not knowing what the Devs are actually doing - You keep telling us “Don’t worry guys, it’s not the end for SOD! We’re cooking, we swear!” But in the last 2 years, you’ve added very little past the initial phases.
Molten Core was just Molten Core with a FR stat check.
BWL, whilst the challenges were okay - wasn’t exactly a high effort addition.
Phase 6 was awful.
Phase 7 was regular Naxx with a busted scaling buff and Karazhan, which I can assure you loses it’s charm after the 2nd or 3rd playthrough.
Phase 8 is the only time at max level where there’s actually been something added to the game which for most people is completed in 2 hours. Then that’s it for the week.

Can we stop ignoring the players, can we actually communicate with people who have stood by this company for 20+ years, who really want the game to do well and succeed. For the last 10-15 of those years this company has acted as though we are an inconvenience rather than people who want to play a good game.
Tell us what’s coming, Tell us what you’re “apparently” working on in the background.
Are we getting more content or is SOD now on it’s deathbed gradually losing players as they run out of things to do in the game? Are we getting Classic +? Is there actually anything new coming? Or is it just the intent now to farm a few sweats stuck in 2004 with yearly Classic and TBC servers? Because I can promise you a large portion of the player base doesn’t want to keep revisiting seasonal servers to do the same 20 year old content over and over. We don’t want to keep levelling characters, investing months into them only for them to be deleted or era’d.
Talk to us, stop treating your CUSTOMERS with such little respect.

Dude, if you know anything about blizzard, You know they rarely care what the community thinks.

They have their vision and if the playerbase dislike it then they are wrong for disliking it.

The devs are incredibly stubborn.

Just remember shadowlands.

Certainly mate. I understand Blizzard doesn’t care, thinks they’re amazing at their job and knows best.
That’s why they’ve lost so many players throughout the years.
So many people in SOD feel the exact same way, yet the devs cover their ears and continue down the same road.
I know this post will lead nowhere, but if enough people make their complaints known - who knows?

They only do action if they notice lost money.

There was a mass-exodus from wow to FF14 during shadowlands and that’s when they started improving the game.

That’s when they take action and only then

???

Mate, the longest we’ve had to wait for new raids is like 8-10 weeks. SoD is the fastest that content has bene pushed out in all of WoW’s history.

Except… It was super hard on release and players were crying that they couldn’t complete it in 2 hours.

I wish they actually would have ignored the players, Scarlet Enclave would have been more challenging then.

I think i can hear Bobby’s new boat
