Write an email to hacks@blizzard.com and they will ban this addon probably, since it’s against the rules
which is why i asked for it to be banned in this very thread right
You still can’t get malware from opening a website you ape, you CLICK inside that website and download an executable, which you have to open afterwards.
Please get off those forums, your IQ is below room temperature, which is quite sad for you.
/facepalm
no, just you writing that nonsense proves you have no idea what you are talking about …
I think I do as that’s what I actually work, I’m a web and app developer, so you can go troll somewhere else.
- You open random shiet website, it says you can win a tablet.
- You click, 5-10 other popups load where you also win some shiet.
- You click on one of them, it downloads an exe
- You misclick run that exe = you are done for
Learn it already and pick another topic to troll with.
For the record what you’re talking about is a ZeroDay, and a very expensive one at that.
No one in their right mind would invest thousands or possibly millions of dollars for a brand new exploit just to get a few nobody bank details or credit cards. They’re reserved for large targets like Google, Amazon, Walmart or similar scope enterprises where your RoI is more than what you spent for the exploit.
i pity your employer/customers if that is true …
because if someone claims this and also claim that the only way to get infected is literally opening a virus.exe …
i fail to find words on how STUPID that claim is …
since when is lets say running a background Javascript a “very expensive” attack angle ? …
That is true, we (IT’s) fail to explain in simple words to the old (or probably mentally-ill) people how things work, for which I am sorry.
Keep on believing that if you open a website - you will get infected with malware, aside from that you can also make a tinfoil hat while you put your headphones on, you might get infected from random sounds as well… who knows…
Javascript is purely client-side (a.k.a in-browser), it can’t download nor run shiet on your device, please educate yourself and stop talking nonsense.
Lmao, what 3rd world country browser are you using that’d allow this as an attack vector?
you know what, go and get burned, no skin off my back kids …
Worst reply when you aren’t educated and lose an argument, at least we won’t see you here again… hopefully…
Are you talking about in-browser cryptominers? Because those were blocked by a majority of all browsers ages ago.
Javascript is hard-sandboxed in literally every browser on the market. Webassembly even moreso. There is nothing you can do in javascript that would be a dangerous exploit, unless you escape the sandbox. Which would be a ZeroDay exploit that would be patched within hours of being found out.
nope just trying to convince geniuses like you that think they are safe as long as they dont open “virus.exe” isnt worth my time and effort…
please do continue to live in your fairy land where you are safe
meanwhile ill avoid going to warez sites that my firewall instantly blocks as malicious … for no reason apparently
Firewalls are for networking, you know that, right? You just proved that you have no idea what you are talking about.
You know he doesn’t.
and guess what, mine also comes with atomatic blocking of suspect network comunication including blocking malicious websites BEFORE the browser gets involved …
So, your giga-super-duper-mega-cool “firewall” does exactly what every browser already does, it checks the IP address of the mentioned website in an RBL and warns you that it’s dangerous - before visiting it?
Still, 0 iq.
oh and please do explain to me why would they need to do that … when you cant get infected by just opening the address …
