Resto druid question

Hi was wondering if anyone got any tips for how to stabilize a team as resto druid. I don’t really feel we have any big heals. So at a point I can be in incarn full hots and spam regrowth but the HP either stands still or goes slowy down. This can even happen trough ironbark aswell.

Usually when the first damage happened i summon my treants and have full hots up, then I use incarn second cd. Do you usually always have a treants on cd and save the 2 others for the big damage since it is only a 20 sec cd?

I feel like it is so easy to fall behind when I don’t get room to cc, I know I have bad positioning but not quite horrible.

Should I maybe just play really passive this season? And hope for the best?

How is the resto script in shuffle?
Hots up then stealth
I usually, stun a target at the start, try to get of a clone if I have the space.
Refresh the hots and regrowth/swiftmend since I talented to 4swiftmends gives you incarn.
If they drop big CDs I use incarn if they just have a little pressure treants. I use vortex if they need it

Resto druid is currently absolutly unviable. No tips would benefit you enough to play that spec. Do yourself a favor and reroll to anything but druid or shaman.

Stun opener rarely worked for me, you get caught of guard easily.

Keep hots on both targets, with prio on bloom, never let it drop.

Clone only if you can afford it, play passive.

Thats just my point of view, could all be wrong.

But like i said just reroll.

Druids have 7% representation. Paladins and discs have 30%. Monk and evo 10%.

Druid is currently dead.

currently the game is too fast paced and burst oriented. A sustain healer like rdruids are just dont fits in. and its not likely it will change in this xpact.

Resto druid is healer which demands from your mates to rotate their defensive properly.

Evry game as resto druid have moment where your mates must respond with defensive, if they didnt its automatic lose.

Your biggest heal combo is swiftmend into regrowth. It should hit for 2-5 million depending on dampening and what hots are on the target. With swiftmend before hitting for like 700-1 million. That should top anyone

When its in solo shuffel, just incarn instantly. No point sitting on it, also you will have a second one ready down the line this way. Also this way you dont need to send all trees at once

Give the main target and yourself lifebloom, cast regrowth on the third so you all have it up and it can trigget vines. Than either ward or instant stealth. Depending on what you play against, you can rake a dps and go tree, or stay safe and just go tree

I dont think its worth it, usually when the damage starts your hots are already falling of slowly and everyone is using cds. Would clone once you have hots set up.

Cloning is really risky, so only do it when actually needed. Like cloning a def cds etc.

But take my advice with a grain of salt as I mostly played 2s and bgb on my druid, since playing disc is just so much more relaxing and easy

Resto druids biggest heal is swiftmend + NS + Regrowth.
Swiftmend will boost the healing bonus on regrowth by ALLOT.
Problem is you all these abilities have cooldowns and take at least 2 globals to cast.
You also need to make sure to have at least a lifebloom and maybe a few more hots going for the passive healing increase (every healing overtime effects increases healing).

So if you are caught of guard or something purges all you hots you need at least 3 globals (when that happens you can use OVERGROWTH, SWIFTMEND, NS/REGROWTH) to top someone fast, which is one of the reasons why druids are falling off so hard , with how fast the game is now.

My advise, try and always combine swiftmend with ns regrowth and make sure to spam clones on everything with no DR to minimize incoming damage., if you don’t you won’t be able to out heal it anyways with druid HPS.

Now take my advise with a grain of salt I am only a 2k druid playing the game on a controller. :>

Guys here have given you some pointers, but from my pov don’t mind the part about re rolling. Keep playing and improving.

Yea, druid does not have saves like priest or paladin, but those two are absolutely out of control. I don’t think they’ll stay like that going into S2.

A good resto is still a huge pain while playing at pillar max range and spamming roots and cyclones. I met some rdruids that absolutely dominated. Playing with a good druid feels “safe”, it’s weird to describe, but when you have full hots rolling before the go and enemy healers eat cyclones following my kidney I feel nothing but <3

i never press hardcast regrowth after swiftmend, never ever, maybe 1 arena every 100 and while tree form and clearcasting, u spend ur souls in rejus or NS

Agree this yield better output, and habbit worth practicing because its tempting to press regrowth when tree pop after mend.
