Resto Druids, Innervate rank 2 Shadowlands

Are anyone else wondering what is going on with Rank 2 innervate?

Rank 2: “If you cast Innervate on somebody else, you gain its effect at 50% effectiveness”.

This pretty much forces all resto druids to give away all of their innervates in every situation in raids at all times. Why does a spell WE have benefit another class more? It makes no sense. It should be that the other healer gets 50% benefit, while we get the normal 100%. We are the druids, this is our spell.

I understand that they want to make the spell more dynamic, but you are punishing the class by doing it this way.

What do you guys think?

I think its really bad since this will make that X Rdruud the innervate bot for that X Disc.

There was the same problem with the early form of power infusion that besides haste gave the player mana cost reduction or free? Dont quite recall, and after the complains they changed it to just haste.

Innevate was never meant to be used on the druid anyway.

Guessing you never played as feral DPS then

Blessing of Sacrifice and Hand of Martyr would like a word with you.

As I see it, they simply just give a little more reason to use it on someone else. Either two benefit for in total 150% or one for 100%.

Which one is more beneficial depends on the situation I guess.

I know powershifting hasn’t been a thing for a while now in retail but in classic healers stealing my innervate is a massive pain in the a** lol

Have min. 2 resto druids in the raid, and be innervate buddies. :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:

Which is ok, but i think the druid should get the most benefit, since it is the druids spell.

What will happen in that scenario is that the disc priest will get 2x innervates

Easy, just raid with all-druids. No problem! - You might even get a few from fellow Moonkins  Then there won’t be any pesky-priests begging for innervates

Use it on yourself = 100% of its strength
Use it on some one else = 100% to some one else, 50% to you. So your ability effectively gets a 50% buff PLUS at the moment resto druid seems to be doing really well in the mana department so I dont see the issue?

We are doing well on mana indeed. I have only used innevate 2 times since i started dungeons.
