Resto Shaman is struggling

Resto Shaman is so poorly designed for pvp, totems is the shaman’s greatest weakness because the Priest does so much damage that it’s really hard to heal through. When will you restrict this circus? So I played 2.4k MMR last season and Resto Shaman is such a black horse in the arena that others will blow through it. No buff to Riptide will save the Shaman from destruction. It’s already in such a shockingly bad position in pvp.

There is no hope for this Shaman spec anymore. Ancestral build, trash. Totemic, garbage. There’s nothing stopping other classes from hammering Shaman’s team, because totems are the easiest in the world to snap off the field.

First, when you believe that the Shaman needs a buff for the Earthliving Weapon, you buff it up. All Riptide buffs are so apparent and non-existent changes that they make no sense, these buffs don’t change active healing reduction for anything in the game.

I think a big issue is people are comparing their healer to Hpals/discos and mw’s. Those healers are hugely outperforming the rest of the healers.

Hpals and discs are 2 of the top 3 classes in SS. They’re clearly overtuned . What blizz doesn’t seem to understand is you don’t have to keep adding buffs onto the other healers, just nerf the stupidly strong ones to bring them into line.

You do that and suddenly shamans, druids, etc will feel like they are on an even footing.

I want to try it out later since I think that the buffs at least go into the right direction but my hopes aren’t high to be honest. Might be also because all buddys in my friend list have stopped playing in this season…
