What happened to Blizzard saying they wanted shamans to have fewer buttons to push ?
And, I remember they said they would change Earth Shield to be a permanent effect instead of having to rebuff after the 12 shields are used.
Compared to my Disc Priest, I think there´s double amount of buttons to push as resto shaman.
Do you other feel that resto is still to bloated with buttons to push ?

No. I have VohDoo.
I literally only have 2 buttons:
1 for Healing Rain. 2 for CB totem. And with my 12 button mouse, I dont even have to press the keyboard at all.
The rest of the skills are “click over party frames”. Including offensive spells. When I click over the “target” and he is a hostile, I will cast offensive abilities.
There is no bloat. Just bad keybinds.
Don’t forget that you can modify your talent tree to require less button to press. You don’t have to play the exact same spec as the professionals or the guide writers.
For example, I switched to Therazane’s Resilience so that I no longer need to gamble with refreshing Earth Shield at low stacks (which also means I no longer need it on my main bars and instead is now on the same bar as weapon imbues), and I switched Unleash Life for Undulation to free up a gcd every 15 seconds.
