Druid Restoration 12.0 Class Set 4pc Wild Growth’s cooldown reduced by 2 sec, and mana cost reduced by 10%.
It’s going all in into AoE. Can it buff any single target healing as well? 10% of the most mana draining spell in your toolkit doesn’t make you use it in single target scenario.
Why would a healer need their single target specifically catered to in a tier set? I mean I get it for dps because dps can actually have bossfights where they only use single target abilities, but for healers there really aren’t any encounters that you wouldn’t use aoe spells for so I don’t really see the reason behind this?
Could you perhaps explain the need for it?
What? It’s not about single target healing being catered into set. It’s about set only buffing your most mana costly aoe spell that indeed you use but pressing it on CD will make you oom really fast. There are many forms of content from raids to M+, from bgs to arenas. While in Raid and BG environment you press it more often in M+ and arena not as much. You have to single target hot your teammates also anyway due to R Druid Mastery. Having a set built around Wild Growth that you don’t want to press on CD due to reasonable mana management makes it luckluster in M+ and Arenas. If only one person messed something up and you have to heal it you don’t want to press whole aoe rotation.
Another benefit of Wild Growth is it’s growing the Wildstalker wine on target but also Swiftmend does. Having a set buffing both would make more sense too me. Mana cost reduction aspect is a bit too weak to justify pressing Wild Growth also in single target scenario.
