Restore character button greyed out

Hi

On my character screen, the restore character button is greyed out and not sure why. Is anyone else suffering from this?

Thanks

If you’ve recently restored a character its on cooldown, the known bug is that it doesn’t display this cooldown.

The cooldown should be every 7 days, if you know the rough timeframe you can plan in to use self restore character that way for now.

The button will also be greyed out if you are trying to restore a character on a locked realm, I believe.

Ah, I see thank you Saneko and Trovlak for confirming.

tbh that’s bs last time i restored a character was 1 month ago (so thats for sure more than 7 days) and yet the button is still greyed out not even a tooltip or anything i made a ticket to and no response i mean if this breaks after a pre patch and even with plenty of people telling about it on forums and tickets and no reaction nothing? well i wish u all good luck in dragonflight then i rlly do miss the good old days where blizz actually cared about their community

I have the same issue on all realms, we can’t see the timeframe for char restore

Only if it was your only character.

If it was your only character, why did you delete it? But no, it will not be restorable until Blizzard unlock the realm.

Also Blizzard will not help you restore it.

I have the same issue, it’s my only character on Silvermoon EU, I only have one for the whole game. I use the feature to take a small break. But it’s been longer than 7 days (I usually unlock each Saturday morning the week after)

It’s still greyed out :expressionless: first time ever.

I tried to contact support but the ticket is closed by them, not sure what to do now?

Why do you delete it just so you can restore it later? You need to start thinking of delete as permanent, not as a way to stop playing.

Character DELETE is character DELETE…
Not Charactert Storage.

They have no obligation to make deleted characters undeletable, nor to help you undelete them. The feature exists mainly in case you a) make a mistake or b) get hacked.
Not so that you can delete and restore characters as if it was a character storage facility.

They are doing it to stop playing during the week, using the restore cooldown to as a barrier to playing their character during the week.
