Where are we heading ?
Im sitting there, every night, trying to queue for RBG, arena but my success rate is like 10 %.
I'm not even going to mention PvE... mythic+ and raids queue stand even lower than PvP...
I might not be the best player, not even among the top, I consider myself medium but for the love of God the time i spend in queue is absolute crap.
Everyone is turning their back to ret.
Even if i start my own RBG group ( tried that ) i'm not capable to lead 100% so once a good leader pops and finds a ret in the group is an instant leave.
Arena ?? tried PHP, please try to find this comp in LFG, they are like 2 or 3 and their requirements are crazy. All priests and hunters prefer to play with rogues or mages better than rets.
Tell me if I do something wrong, its beggining to be extremly frustrating and i don't have the possibility to reroll now due to lack of time. I'm not 17 anymore and can't play more than 2 hours a day.

Yeah, it's starting to get really frustrating this Decline Simulator 2018 on the ret, i struggled my !@# off to get 1k R.io for nothing, still getting insta decline, some people just feel bad about it and whisper you that they don't need a ret even tho the score is good.
I thought last week that it was finaly our time to shine with the offheals on grevious and that we'll get less declined...Nope, was even worse, got declind on +8s even, because the players base's perception of the ret paly is already deeply bad, and no score, achievement, or specific affixes will change that.
Keep in mind that when you Q with even a 1k-1.2k score, there is surely a dh/rogue/war/monk in the Q too with better score, so they're instantly the best pick.
Also, stuff like this doesn't help with the player base's perception :

For the RBG community it's another story, they speak only with achievements, so most players get carried by friends for the 2k+ achiev to be able to Q more easily after, if you don't have friends to carry you over that, you'll get stuck in the 1800-2000 pugs and witness hell, but it's not just for the palys, it's for everyone (unless you're a lock lel).

The state of the paladins: No one cares... Rets suck. Who gives a f*** about it? I feel like Im forced to roll a mage or a rogue to get my self a spot for arenas or mythic raiding...
The only thing we are competitive in at the moment.. is how fast we can beat other classes to the bottom of the DPS rankings.
It's funny because there is thousand of post how RET IS "OP" and i laugh every time, but when comes to reality, no random player want to invite RET in RBGs, or arenas...
This spec is close to dead... i can't imagine how they think ret is ok??

Edit: I was also wondering why I am getting instant decline for low lvl mythic plus as well. XD
This is my 3rd class that I thought of maining...Well, I will stick with her till the end of this expansion. So hell! with nm, hc raids and mythic plus.

This is something I feel Blizzard is seriously overlooking. I doubt there are masses of new teenagers flocking into this game anymore and we who were in high school age during the early days have so little free time on our hands that rerolling simply isnt an option anymore.
So looks like I'm not the only one...
We need blizzard to fix this ASAP or else the population of paladins will be decimated.
I simply refuse to believe that Blizz is not thinking about all the paladin subs, we demand an answer EVEN if spec modifications will not be reworked now AT LEAST give us a decent timeline.

Exacly yeah, I bet teenagers these days prefer easier games.
Most of us that started playing Vanilla, TBC are over 24-25 now. They surely need to think about a solution or there will come a time when a lot of people will unsub, not only paladins.
I don't think it's too bad. Rets have definitely been in worse states (and better ones as well absolutely) but it's not like we are the bottom of the barrel worse spec out there.

No man, you are not the only one... every paladin out there is frustrated with the spec...
My PVP experience as RET is ---to be a target dummy or sitting in root or snare healing my team and waiting for someone to pass by me to hit him --
I don't play much PVE, only 2-3 mythics 6-10key weekly, but even there its hard for me to find a group because RET pala is not very good choise among the all mele dmg we are at the bottom... because there is nothing to offer to the group. Our blessings are totaly USELESS. My biggest play is occasionally WOG to top the party.

Yeah usually thats what happens in arena. Good players know how to kite us and we got nothing against them to counter that. It doesn't matter how good you are, if they kite you when u pop wings its a 100% win for them. And lets be serious its not hard to see a paladin popping wings .....

Thats a lie.
Nothing is worse than legion ret.
We didnt even have art of war in legion baseline... like cmon... judgement colossus smash was abyssmal and it didnt generate holy power. Like there is no way i will ever consider legion a good expansion because of the !@#$ty class design it had.
The gameplay was worse than WoD. At least most classes were FUN in Wod.
Besides arms warrior that is... which was also kinda %^-*ty in legion... but arms really hasnt been fun after 5.4.8

Based on what I've read and heard from friends there indeed are major problems with at least shadow priests and feral druids. However just being perhaps the least crappy turd in the pile is no reason to ignore our flawed gameplay and there should be changes and developer talk about our situation as well.
