Playing ret pala in PVP feels like you are one of main reasons why your team will loose in AB these days.
Pretty please buff paladins in PVP by buffing now useless runes in PVE which noone is/will be using after next martyrdom buff. We are not offhealers atm with the increased HP pool and lifted dmg reduction we are useless in the group combat.
Something like Divine storm - increase DMG or healing or both.
enlightened judgements - add heal two near dmg targets for 300-400Hp
Avenger shield - reduce the CD to like 10sec, there is just way to much mobility for everyone in this phase
Guarded by the light - provide there a DMG reduction like 10%, we are not guarded by the light when we use this rune, we just have more mana and get weaker light spells. It doesnt make sence
Sacred shield - buff initial protection to like 400-500
You are complaining about the area where Ret excels.
Ret excel as offheal? we are playing different game.

Rets don’t need pvp buffs they already super strong in pvp. Literally 100-0 in a stun.
Avengers shield (the slow) is at the same rune spot as exorcism
once you spec exorcism you have no slow or absorb and the freedom is well as all other stuff dispelled all the time as shamans are bosses.
As a paladin with the upcoming patch you will have just an one option to play you will go martyr and all other runes for exorcism. it will be hitting very hard, but alliance need some help on the tanking field against shamans whom are the strongest and only class able to stand crazy dmges these days.
I have wrote about the other runes, which are not used. check the calc runes and slots and you should understand.

Bro people that dont play paladin will not understand so its no point. they always say something about it. So its no point even take this upp about paladins in this game. They dont understand that after one healing and all the spells we cost we are in logic OM. And they dont understand that our stuns have cooldowns and bubble.
Paladin Can maby 1v1 and kill some if they get lucky with the crits. But they dont understand that to. And they dont understand that we need 2 diffrent crits. We need agility for mele swing to get crit and spells we need intellect. This they dont know to my friend. And other thing they dont know this empty heads of players in this forums that are just alote of liars dont know that.
ITS NEARLY ZERO ARMOR that haves agility and int togther!!! this they dont know. So every class have over hand agianst paladin on the crits. The lowest crits on this game is paladin statcly. If sombody says other class then they are the biggest liars
I’ve just came out of a WSG where the Alliance had 4 Ret Paladins and they absolutely rolled us in mid every time - they can just straight zerg mid without any impedement.

you should pay more attention when watching your favorite streamer. hes playing the pve build with martyr+exo which is fine for single target, but not a single rune I mentioned above. Single target is fine, but compared to horde we have no tank for frontlines. half of our newly added runes cant be used.
Tell me with the martyr buff comming on wednesday why to use divine storm now?
why to use sacred shield instead of art of war? why to use enlightenment judgements instead of sheat of light?
Ret is OK in pvp stop shaming us.
It is just a skill issue if you don’t know how to play your class / spec.
