So i came to a realization that leveling as RET paladin in TBC is the WORST thing i have ever SEEN

i was like ok im gonna duel this dude he is my lvl so it will be interesting
so i started and after i judge him i came to another realization
THAT who ever designed this class was completely clueless about WHAT PVP actualy means
like i have 1 active ability to deal dmg until lvl 50 ?
TELL ME WHO was LEAD or who designed classes back in the day so i can be MAD :d
no this is not about dying or not balanced PVP i just wanna know how is possible to design game this way so one class for example balance druid can hardcast wraths and heal and all of that meanwhile i have seal and judgement ???

Well ret paladin in vanilla was basicly a autohit bot that can use judgment in what seems like once every fullmoon.
In TBC they get crusader strike at a certain level, until then, you are still kind of a vanilla ret paladin.
Wotlk is where Ret truly rocks. But i agree, whoever managed to castrate the paladin and ship him like like this in vanilla … from what i remember (correct me if im wrong) he actually had crusader strike and another ability when they first designed the class but scrapped it shortly before the official release.
I like it, did 2v1 with a hunter and priest once, they were just 3-4 levels under me, I basically 1 shotted the priest I was 42 they were 38 and 39. I mean it’s world PVP it’s not meant to be fair, if you bring potions into this it will be ridiculously unfair.

Did you try doing duel with someone who knows how to plaY?
cause it is hard with ONE judgement? and 3 sec autoattack
meanwhile priest is casting dots on you fear everytime for 8 sec and that fear is not even broken by DOTS
and the best part is that they can use MINDFLAY
it’s ridiclous how one class have everything on lvl 43 and one is stuck with judgement till 50 lvl
But TBC is still lot of FUN for me
it’s just i don’t understand why people hate retail pvp when there you can do many things to win because of your toolkit
in TBC you can pray that in one 5 sec stun your autoattack will crit and you one shot the person 
You wont beat a shadow priest, even with crusader strike. So here is the mandatory “get gud”

Your point is the supposed lacking of damage abilitys in “low” lvl retribution pvp and you want to be mad towards the guy who designed this class.
Your whole thread, as well as my reponse to it, is completely useless. You can beat some classes with the kit and some you can´t. Every class has this issue. It´s one of the things that make tbc great.
It certainly is less fun since there’s little offense you can provide, but there is utility. You can bubble, you have multiple stuns, you can wear more protective gear and, though it’s not too easy to do at times, you can heal.
Iron grenades were essential, of course. I wouldn’t bother trying to World PvP while leveling without iron grenades. It was a shock to me during prepatch that they were nerfed (and rightly so though.)
