(Retail) Is it better to farm thunderfury with 2 people

Do you have more of a chance if 2 people farm molten core for the thunderfury bindings and if the other person gets a binding trade it to me

or is it the same chances doing it solo

Same chance, so not worth it.

The same amount of loot drops regardless of how many helpers you have with you due to how Legacy Loot works. Special items like bindings in Molten Core doesn’t deviate from this.

Yeah, right now the only places where other people increase your chance are

  • World bosses
  • BoE’s from trash from WoD and onwards (or maybe MoP too, not sure)
  • Shadowlands stuff

I wouldn’t say it’s worth it, my hunter has the Thunderfury but my DK has been farming the right hand bracers for what seems an eternity.

Get one binding, go to Silithus to start quest, farm for other binding. I have it in my bags to smack lowgeared people to troll with while they kill me!

A solo player in MC has 35 people worth of loot. Two players will have to share 36 players worth of loot.

Legacy loot only benefit you in smaller raids.
