i’ll take this as genuine, cause i honestly think you are. but change it to what? it was that event that i saw everyone standing in one place?
come up with a good one, and i’ll change it to what you say. x

This only happens to streamers, average players don’t get this treatment.
If you want such a experience then go and play on farelina, its where all streamers are there, even the EU streamers are heading there.
When I log into moonguard on US and go to goldshire I see more people than I’ve ever seen in classic so idk chief.
I think we just need more goldshires
If this wasnt an Asmongold worship thread. The you really need to work on your topic naming.
You don’t write “recipe for apple pancakes” and then describe in detail how to make chicken soup.
No idea… Could call it “Retail needs a more interactive community!” or something like that if your point was that Retail doesn’t really have an in-game community anymore…
But that’s impossible with all this X-realm layering… Back in the day you could run into someone from your own faction often enough to form a friendship, or you could run into someone from the opposite faction you’d fight over and over until he became a “nemesis” of sorts…
Nowadays people out in the world might as well be NPCs.
i have never trolled in forums. i only ever either try to:
this time, it will be number 3, as im not a troll you
it honestly wasn’t. i just loved seeing people in one place. i followed the other velf’s name. but i almost did use “recipe for apple pancakes”.
Eww, you should feel bad, wash your mouth out with soap and water, that word does not mean what you think it does
Not sure how you got that from what I stated. The Chap had no impact on my life whatsoever, until he urged his followers to mess up rp on RP servers, and even streamed himself flipping the middle finger as he did so. So, my mind was already fairly open, Mr whatever his name is simply brought himself to my attention by his antics.
Well, allow me to elaborate, what you are showing there is not unusual. Not some miraculous rare event. That’s basically what we call a ‘day with a Y’ in it, on the larger realms.
Perhaps not, but that’s for them to prove otherwise, not for the rest of us to have to tolerate. As in them. I don’t want a Stream from him saying anything other than “I’m sorry”, I am not interested in that. if his fans are really interested in being a community, then we will see it evolve and happen, if however they act like they did, spouting distateful jokes, racism, anti Semitism, sexism and some pretty vile and descriptive threats, as well as lionising a certain far Right political party in 1930’s Germany then yes, please -do- keep them there. We had enough of that the first time round.
We’ve got one! Ah, you mean for smaller realms? Yes, they probably could do with some numbers, the bigger realms are doing fine though, cheers.
OK, Cool, that’s nice for you. Saw the same thing a week or two ago, the Festival of Dath’remar, absolutely stackloads of players in one place, all RPing away, was brilliant. Didn’t need a Streamer, but anyway…
No, I acknowledged your statement, however decided I would not be dictated to as to whether or not I feel a person who disrupts servers should have a disfavourable opinion from me. Turns out, shocker, that I maintained my disfavourable opinion of them, as they have shown no remorse for encouraging some pretty despicable behaviour. Bias would apply if there were no impetus for why I think that way, the fact that it is, means that it is based on Empirical evidence, not bias.
But lets come to this next point, you must be a new fan of his to not have seen this one…
You -started- a thread about -someone- else hitting level 60 in a video game. I mean it isn’t like he is the first person to do so, or wasn’t showered with gold by his fans. Your BfA experience may be flagging , on actual realms with RP it is still booming, especially moreso now actually, And another thing…
He is not responsible for how his fans act? Even during the ‘Project 60’ phase he went through, where he streamed himself saying that he wanted his followers to f*ck with RP’ers on RP realms?
You seriously denying the guy was a douchecanoe at that point?
Because his drones sure followed his words, it was hell for a week or two.
you are obviously a coward, and now all angry you’ve been called out. trying to call me a troll then reporting me. the posts you flagged are obviously not trolling. i am concerned with the people not seeing the game being alive by having lots of other players around them.
but go ahead, be a troll more yourself.
Retail has too many servers.
They need to merge all the low pop servers properly not letting three or four servers sharing phases. It has destroyed server pride and it means nothing these days. That’s the main thing I miss from vanilla. Seeing the same faces day in day out on both sides. Learning to fear certain players if you saw them out in the world as they were known pkrs.
This joined server thing just kills it for me.
still hurt little demon hunter? xD go on, try for number four. you can do it! you still only need the one hand to count that high!
Well first they’d need to heavily update the servers to actually allow so many people to be rendered at once. Then, yeah, condensing down the number of map shards would be great!
Problem is, how would this increase community? Just having more people nearby doesn’t make a community. WoW has become a glorified game lobby with people waiting for instanced activities. Even in the over-world, it’s just a shallow, soulless combat-fiesta.
Where is the RPG in this MMORPG? Why is everything about killing things or preparing to kill things? Where is the content that makes people interact with each other outside of group instances and tough WQ mobs?
im not going to continue this as its so far away from the point i was originally trying to make about population and you still seem fixated on him. he obviously is abrasive, and tbh, with the amount of intelligence he seems to have (memory at least) spending so much time playing a game seems a bit of a waste ive always thought.
and careful little demon hunter, you need both hands at once now… … maybe thats why you’ve not flagged my other 5 posts?
exactly
They are, they made people into NPCs. Coming across people from your own server/cluster is rare. Can’t trade with them, guild etc. I rather encounter nobody and know for example monday nights are when most don’t play than to encounter people whom I have 0 connection to. It’s like the player statistics, “We have x subs!”. Great which regions? Because subs in the US or Asia don’t affect me.
They did this to WoW is a MMORPG to WoW is a O. Even something as simple as a class trainer where you decided which spell to learn first was part of the RPG part.
Also kinda sick of being refered to as the almighty hero. Don’t need to be treated like a nobody either (acknowledge what I did) but stop the darned “OMG! You collected 3 boxes of supplies from the murlocs! THANK YOU HERO! kisses my feet” That’s Nazjatar. It are murlocs, kill them yourselves! How did you survive back in SW? The local threats are murlocs and gnolls!
Make me a special agent or elite soldier who gets called up for the more difficult, dangerous or (near) impossibles tasks. But not general of the army like in WoD. But do to being such an elite you can be called upon and relied upon by Tyrande herself while common soldiers would just be ordered around.
i love this xD
OP! If you really want population on retail then come join Argent Dawn server. SW and Gold shire are always populated with people, irrespective of a streamer being present or not…
I think that is probably best, I mean -you- made the thread all about him, you chose the title, you named him, you wanted this. Lets not pretend this was some noble crusade to encourage more players into Retail, lets just be honest. This was another Classic is better than Retail Weekend thread.
Not really, fact retention is not linked to actual intelligence, Its why whilst a low IQ is easily distinguishable, a high IQ doesn’t actually denote that much, you can be the smartest in the world, but not know how your washing machine works. It is also why most employers actually regard exam results as of secondary importance, despite what your teachers tell you at school, there is a massive disconnect between education and employment. Education is better regarded as your -capacity- to learn. Anyway, I digress. I don’t think he is the sharpest tool in the box, to be honest, but he has found a niche and is milking it, good for him. While it lasts. As someone who makes a living narrating audiobooks of someone elses work, I can’t really complain overly much.
i would have liked that, and is why i made my classic toons on the RP server, even though it was lowest, i figured once the drop off from release is over, the RP server will probably be the most “solid”. but i have my bfa toons where they are, i have too many (16 on each) so i guess im stuck unless blizz fixes servers. but you are right, RP servers are some of the brightest lights i would guess in what little community is left in game these days.
but, it wasn’t? -_-
true. i have worked closely with a lot of doctors, and i think many of them need help putting their shoes on, or opening a cheese sandwich.
such a shame a bitter wedge has driven between us and we each have our opinions of each other now, considering we had an interest in common.
but again, ive said it many times. BfA is driving the playerbase against each other in nearly every topic. and blizz sits back avoiding the flak they caused, and reaping the monies
I am too old to understand this streamer cult begin with. For me we are talking about some random guy, who is not any more special than any poster in this thread. So who are we talking about again ?
Oh I know that feeling, I have actually had to talk to a woman who is a fairly respected practitioner in her field (and by all accounts rightly so) and explain to her how to lace up a new pair of boots, and why you should wear socks in said boots, as LARP events can get muddy (Fingers crossed the Fest system this weekend won’t be) .
After I did this, and watched her tie up her own shoelaces I uttered “And tell me again, if I am undergoing majorly invasive physical surgery, you’re the sort of person who decides how much anaesthetic I need?”
“Oh shut up, I just have problems with laces”
“Thank goodness for that”
I don’t think it has, or need be, I generally post in a slightly sarcastic or dry humour vein, and do not bear any malice to anyone over internet forums, life is too short, and text based communication is too rubbish, for us all to understand the context of what people -mean- as opposed to the simple bold letters on a screen.
I do maintain however, that BfA is not driving the playerbase against each other. Classic Fans posting on the General Forums are driving the playerbase against each other. If that could stop, I am sure that those of us, like myself, who play both, would get along just fine and dandy.
I understand that you meant something else but alone mentioning asmogold in relation to anything that wow allegedly means triggers a lot of people. In the end, streamers ruined wow. I hate streamers.
