The best advice i can give you is drop pawn.

You can get a string from a raidbot/simcraft simulation, but pawn does not work that well. Rings of the same ilvl are most of the time listed an upgrade of some sort, and there are issues with trinkets too. You’ll end up constantly trying to swap gear in the effort of improvment.

I find much better just run a sim, get stat weight, update a couple of pcs in that direction and then re-sim and adjust. And so on.

There is no string optimized for BfA because stat weights change all the time, so they are pretty much useless.

The best possible answer is to sim your character, and not sim stat weights, but use top gear to see which pieces give you most dps.

It’s totally fine if you don’t want to do this for every single piece you find, especially if you’re not doing it for your main, but it will give you the top gear you should be using without having to worry about useless things like stat weights.

For simming I recommend using Raidbots, pretty easy to use, it’s fast and it pretty much updates the day new class changes come out.
