I found one shot mechanics always more for lower bracket cheese comps instead bieing actually competitive but this season defeats the entire concept off Arena.

And DT is getting removed. You don’t use it on aimed shot either you open with sniper shot from camo then double tap rapid fire.

Remove ALL one shot mechanics from Arena or give them incredibly long and tedious setup time so they only work in lower MMR’s.

Ret together with ww monks have one of the most obvious burst moments of any class. You see wings, you run or pop a defense. It’s ok to use a defense early on.

You’re going to get hate for it because ret is “squishy” and have a “ramp up” time. But I do agree.
Especially with people who’re getting 2 set now and the buffs they got. I don’t care how squishy ret is, it shouldn’t be able to 1 tap people with AoE.
Give them a PvP talent that makes bubble undispellable and even their burst out so it’s less gimmicky would be my take.

Where the magical fairy number of 200k comes from? decree was never buffed and crits (crit is not guaranteed and retri dont go for crit too) for 160k full epic gear. The rest of skills do 100-120 IF crits. People selectively lazy to avoid ret burst which is hugely telegraphed, but god forbid you from not kicking storm keeper (which unlike wings you can just cast again and again until it went off) for example whatever happens next is your fault l2p noob. Caster loby is out of control, first they came after fury now its trash and they still cant let it die in piece at 1300 rating where they now reside and now ret palas.
ps since when it became a norm to demand so you can face tank a 2min burst CD without any counter play??

That last part with the setup sounds like bursting as Arcane
No clue, I don’t do casters in PvP.
It makes me want to scream at sleeping babies.
But I find interrupting or distrupting arcane’s burst not neccessarily hard though…
It’s no different than timing and stacking every Arcane dmg multiplier on a Patchwerk style raid boss with no mechanics into a giga chad -35% hp Arcane Barrage execute on the 4th Radiant Spark cast on a cleave target. Theres like a total of 12-15 seconds of cast time setup. In other words, it doesn’t happen in the real world.
Then theres melee that achieve the same by just popping cooldowns and hitting stuff

That is fine because if you can squeeze out 10-15 seconds setup without bieing disrupted you deserve to be oneshotting somebody…
It’s their own faulth for not interrupting you.
But a DT into Rapidfire or all the nonsense UH DK (and plenty off melee’s) should never kill you…
