Can someone explain to me what happened to Retribution paladin after yesterday’s 11.1 update? Aura of Reckoning is gone, we got the unusable pvp talent Shining Revelation, which makes absolutely no logic. Empyrean Hammer’s reduced by 30%? After trying a few shuffles, I feel like I’m not doing any damage, both herald and templar specializations.

I killed at least 5-10 hordies by a bounty war chest but i did have the general’s protection aswell. And i’m geared to the teeth.
Compared to devo, or ww, or arms warrior with mortal strike actually ret paladin does nothing in arenas also with divine hammer build. Idk whats wrong, but actually ret is useless, hope its just “preseason” and everything will be fixed when season start, becouse that is really unplayable.

Final Verdict is very low on damage atm. Our stun bugs out when another player use a mobility spell like Fel Rush. Divine toll only hits the target you’re on, this bug activates if you login to your paladin in Stormwind for some reason. I’m there are more problems but i haven’t found them yet.

Lvladen tell about it on youtube, retribution paladin is wrecked totally. Hope blizzard do something with that. Its terrible, actually the most lowest class in that patch.
Edit: PVP talents for retribution paladin are totally garbage as he said on video, pointless talents except Sanc.
New talent, shining revelation none of paladins ever use divine shield to “reveal” stealth enemies, thats 0 IQ move in that talent.

Yeah i didn’t get that one either. Maybe if it worked like a DH vision then it could have been somewhat useful.

Day 3 - Nothing change. Retribution paladin still dead. If they start season like that, they will finally free me from my World of Warcraft addiction and I can leave this game with a clear conscience.

Wait can i have your gold?! (Jokes aside i can still push top damage most of the time but i have to use flasks while others do not so that’s unfair)
Got back to WoW after while and was hyped to play paladin…level 70 to 71 i havent felt this miserable long time playing this game. Doing more dmg with filler/HP generator ability than actualy ability you are spending 3HP is absolutly disgusting. RNG Wings…whoever came up with that…ah lets not go into it. You guys are still able to play this class ?
No it cant play it anymore its feels to weak in pvp.

It doesnt feel fun in PvE either i would rather play wow classic and wait for my auto-attacks swing than press few buttons to build Holy Power and do nothing with Final Verdict. More like final verdict to toss this spec to garbage instead of tweak a bit numbers if they felt its OP. Absolutly crazy to me how they butchered it in almost no time. Dragonflight Retri felt really good atleast for me it was like a glimpse of path to finaly retri pala being usefull and fun and somewhat good.
