The last character I played pre Patch was on EU-Blackrock. I can log on any of my characters from EU-Blackrock but can’t log into any character from any other realm f.e. EU-Blackhand.
When I try to log into a character from f.r. EU-Blackhand I get the message “Retrieving realm list” and after about 1min I get a loading screen. The loading bar fills up to full but I don’t get logged in and instead get the message “Character not found”.
Also when I try to switch realm manually and click on “Realms” in my character overview I get the message “No realms are currently available. (WOW51900309)”
I did try it myself, i feel it take little bit longer or make a freeze, but othwerwise no issue
Drak’thul<=>Argent Dawn both ways
when was the last time you did deleted battle-net app cache ?
please follow this guide:
you can spice thing up with deleting in Wow.exe in World of Warcraft\_retail_ + BlizzardBrowser.exein World of Warcraft\_retail_\Utils, before you do scan&repair, to make it more “clean/new”
All morning now, same issue, this needs to be resolved ASAP. None of the trouble shooting helps. Patch day when its important to log in and farm up gear, and this happens… come on Blizz look into this and fix fast. What are we paying for?
Blizzard management busy playing fellowship, they will fix this issue when they will take break.
About this thread, all this people are lying as this is not so called widespread issue.
Do not waste your time in troubleshooting.
I can only log in into characters in the Dun Modr-EU realm, trying to log into any of my characters in any other realm gives me a “Character not found” error. None of the generic troubleshooting worked for me.
Been having the same problem all morning. Cannot log into any character on Kazzak, But perfectly fine logging into any other server. Have followed the troubleshooting guide but nothing worked.
@Blizzard, does your reply mean you don’t care if more than one person is reporting the issue, and it’s not widespread?
Why are you referencing the troubleshooting page? By the way, it doesn’t apply to the current issue. and doesn’t help, if we can login and play on one server, it’s not a connectivity issue. retrieving realm list throws an error, switch to the other character is saying Character is not found .
Same here. Been trying to login all morning so far on my main realm.
The only thing that works is Remix. I logged out there last night and that char is on a different realm than my regular mains…
I have tried literally everything. Even attempting to manually set the realm in the config file.
Let’s imagine that you’re trying to go to a concert, but for some reason are unable to, and contact the venue:
If your car is broken, or if you ran out of fuel, then there’s not much that the venue can do, as much as they’d like to help you. This may happen to a few concert goers, and they may each have a different issue. It doesn’t mean that there’s anything wrong going on at the venue.
If you can’t enter the venue because the gate at the parking lot is broken, preventing everyone to park, and therefore preventing everyone with a car to attend the concert, then that’s something the venue can intervene on.
I suspect the reason the issue isn’t more widespread because it seems to affect loading the Realms, and not if you log in to a character in the same server (which I imagine is most people).
Still doesn’t mean this isn’t an issue with the concert venue and instead our car…
The fact I can clearly log into characters in the same server clearly indicates the issue is with you.
Imagine you’re paying for the service. At some point, the service is not reachable. First, you’re trying to investigate the issue on your side. Then, on the service provider, more than one person reports the same problem across multiple forums and topics. so it’s not a localized problem on specific customer machine, and then support replies like this, what I need to think of the quality of such kind of responses from the service provider ?
I would understand if the issue was only on my machine, as you must be aware, the issue is reported already in multiple topics
What a beautiful answer.
There are a bunch of people from different countries on different servers getting the “No realms are currently available” error when trying to fetch the realms list and being able to log in only to the realm we logged out from yesterday and you compare it to “a car ran out of fuel.” Awesome.
It can’t be that all of us have the same error and the same behaviour and it’s on our side.
