Obviously it was built up with the mag’har recruitment that Yrel went a bit mad with the whole light thing, tried to forcefully convert all the orcs and ogres and people of Draenor after the planet started to go bad, you have AU Garrosh as one of the top officers of this army. To me that’s pretty cool, taking what’s usually the good guys with paladins and priests and making them the expansion baddies? I do like AU Draenor itself too, despite the expansion itself not being stellar, I’d like to revisit it as it has now caught up with our time.

I really despised what they did with Yrel, making her some kind of zealout. I prefer to pretend that never happened.

If they did another Draenor expansion they could have a good symetry with WoD by having a redemption arc for Yrel like we had with Grommash then. Although it would have to be executed better. They missed all the middle chapters that time so he went Evil to Hero in the time it took to take a selfie and tweet it.
I’d rather stay on Azeroth.
I’m not a fan of visiting other planets in WoW. Least of all one we’ve already been to.
I liked the primal and unexplored feel of the planet full of dangerous foes and magic , that felt ripe for exploring .
On the contrast current wow has become too close to modern age , with cameras , pools … all that modern slang . It looks like a caricature of modern day . Honestly it brakes immersion and is kinda lame .
On the other side I did not like this whole alternate universe trope and somehow people from the other universe crossing into our universe and bringing in demoes from some other universe who were supposed to be dead . Also Yrell pissed me off with her constant whining and they honestly just spat on Grommash’s image .
So to that end … Yea I would enjoy going to a Draenor like place , but not to some alternate reality . Would be kind of neat to find other blown up parts of it . Perhaps with Ogre kingdoms on them .
Or better yet , figure out that Draenor was not blown up , but rather Outland was torn off it and blasted in the Nether and sine the Dark portal was there we went to it . Meanwhile the Original Draenor is floating somewhere out there , with a big chunk missing from it . Who knows what interesting stuff have been going on there .
Yeah, wasn’t a huge fan of that.
But since it’s there now I say why not use it. Just don’t over do the alternate personalities.
