I have returned after 15 years, my main level 80 character, elf healer priest, name Tobs is missing, my low level characters are there (i have scrolled up and down) i am on the correct realm Aerie Peak.
i am desprate to get her back, I hope you can assist
Hi, I assume you mean level 80 in Wrath of the Lich King. We had a level squish in Shadowlands (as the level got to 120 and was squished to 50), so do note that said character is supposed to be level 30 or so.
If the character is still missing, try creating a new character on the same realm in order to refresh the list.

Yes, i have created a new character, but i dont have a level 30 elf priest namded Tobs in my characters, which what she should be then after the “squish”
It’s not uncommon for characters to be hard to find when returning to he game. Old characters may not appear on the login page until you visit their realm, and as Chonormi says several years ago there was a level squish and your character may now be much lower level that you might expect.
It’ is also very common for returning players to be mistaken about the realms their characters are on.
The easiest way to fidn a lost character is via the item restoration service (https://eu.battle.net/support/en/restoration) which offers a complete list of your characters and the realms they are on on step one.
If that isn’t successful you can submit an in game ticket to petition a GM for help to track it down.
I checked the support article and it also mentions exiting the game and delete your Battle.net Cache folder after you created a new character.
