Returning player, was unaware of ''creation catalyst''

Um like what is the point of raiding if this exists? I just spent 4 hours in a pug in vaults of incarnate to get my pretty shoulders and now anyone can get them just like that?

Bit lame.

Wow now they are not special at all and completely meaningless.

btw before anyone says I don’t just raid for the loot I enjoy downing bosses but that was the cherry on top, cool unique gear.

Sure. 5 weeks after raid release with 1 charge a week.

This is like Oprah again '‘you get a car… and YOU get a car… and YOU get a car… everyone gets a car!!!’ hahahahahha. I still love wow but some of the things they have brought in, like this and Tauren rogues, my god

The catalyst is one of the games best features lol, the only irritation is the fact theyve locked it for so long.

I will never understand why raiders want content gated from others.

How does the fact m+ players can access it make it meaningless?. Lol. Tier sets arent about where they come from, their about the fact rheu allow alterations to strengths each season.

Who hurt you exactly? Literally, everyone asked for this given system to avoid bad luck. Catalyst should be open the same day Mythic opens up, that’s the only complain in general.

Raiders be scared m+ players will outdps them without their advantage :joy:

No I just remember back in Ulduar, tier gear was like this cool awesome gear you had to get really deep into the exclusive raids to get.

Raiding before LFR was more epic too, you were slowly working through this titan labyrinth seeing a new piece of it after each kill.

Now you can just see it all with 0 effort on LFR and get all the gear with 0 effort.

Just another way in which raiding has been made more lame than back in the day. :frowning:

Oh well I will keep an open mind, maybe communist care bear ‘everyone is a smiley winner everyone is special so no-one is’ new wow will grow on me.

Good thing for you that Ulduar is right around the corner then!

Same reason as with a lot of M+ players. They need at least one thing in their life that makes them feel special and superior in order to maintain their fragile ego. Probably ingame compensation for lack of real life achievements.

Some of the tier bonuses can be quite strong so it would be extremely unfair to m+ people simply to have them handicapped because of some prehistory “raid or die” principle.
I mostly care for the tier sets mainly of the bonus, if was removed or the tier set bonus could be applied a separate bonus/enchant…whatever. Then the raiders can keep their raid tier dressing set for all I care.

But it’s really nice knowing that I don’t have to raid.

The only real problem is having to wait for the Creation Catalyst to unlock so I can start putting my set together.

I was pleased to complete my Mythic Sepulcher set from Shadowlands with ever stepping foot in the Mythic Raid.

Maybe not that soon, but from the first reset after the race to world first was won. Or something like that.

Hmmm. Let me think a bit. Reasons to raid…

  • Having fun with friends/guilds
  • MMO endgame content with story included
  • Different transmogs and goodies like Mounts tied to Raids
  • Achievement hunts
  • Helping players who never played a Raid before

And most importantly:

  • Playing for having several chances per week to get a Tier-Set armor piece

– Edit –

Also, counterpoint to that argument:

Because People today have gradually less time to play games and devote time to raiding with 10+ people for several hours a day. Some people have careers they dedicated their life to, others have their own families they dedicated their lives to.

Blizzard did the right thing to change accordingly to their target audience. And that is usually not the type of player that sits before the screen 7h+ per day to play World of Warcraft. Because those players usually don’t make Blizzard the most money. It’s the people that have less time and want to have a guaranteed good time when they have finally time to play their games. Because a happy customer comes back. An unhappy one doesn’t.

Hence why they make the game more and more casual now, after they realized their mistakes in recent years.

Ok snowflake going to hurt you if I dancing Infront of you getting my 4 set in couple of weeks

Lol.

Its a tier set. Its vital to end game content and as they intend m+ to be end game content it has to change.

Raidijg was in the game first sure so it was obviously the orginal way to get things. But maybe accept things will change.

Yes, everyone will get it just like that. Stop spending your hours raiding. We are trying a boss not more than 3 times anymore after SL raids.

Creation Cata not only gives raid items with tier set-bonus on it. You need that bonus on multiple items including PvP and M+ gear.

If you think you can wait the first 6 weeks + 4 charges for 4 weeks = 10 weeks = 2,5 months, then yes, they are meaningless but it is not for the majority of players.

Stop your non-sense here.

What’s the point of raiding when you can solo the raid 2 expansions later?

What’s the point of going to a pizzeria when there are other places to eat pizza?

What’s the point of life?
