Hello fellow locks. Came back to WoW last night! Actually really enjoy the leveling experience again so far. Been gone since Cata and have always loved the Warlock so I used my boost on this toon.
Just a quick question, when it comes to PvE endgame. Mythic + and raids, would affliction or destruction be the best choice?
I enjoy both specs, with destruction being slightly ahead for the awesome animation that is chaos bolt.
For Raids Affliction does well on most of the bosses. In M+ its alittle bit tricky. For “Explosives” “Infested” or pretty much any afflix without Tyranical, Affliction is not really a good choice due to lack of instant-hard-hit skill.
For example last week I was being picked very quickly ('cuz afflix was Tyranical) but now this week, its a decline fest 
To answer your question; Affliction is the choice here but you might wanna switch to Destruction for certain Afflixes in M+.
