I’m looking to play again my Shaman as resto ofc.
I want to ask you. I should go lvl up as Ele or Resto?
It’s viable the Resto lvl up?
If you’re gonna do dungeons all the way up to 60 resto will give you faster queues, but level out in the world with quests as ele or enh is probably faster than resto 
I was leveling trough threads of faith as resto in dungeons and enh in open world. Before i stack maelstrom for earth shock as ele the mobs would be already dead as enh, and you can pull whatever you want as enh kill it quickly by nice and fast cleave, and heal tru using every maelstrom proc for surge.
I did level as Enhancer. It‘s fast paced and interactive. Restoration was a pain to level.
Resto is ok, you can solo elites and win every pvp.
Instant dungeons and group invites.
If you prefer to dps, enhancement is the way. Not that ele is bad, or mobs die before ES. But you still have to wait for cooldowns, healup, ranged pull than go to the corpse to loot…
As enhancement you go in you kill, everything is instant, even the heals.
