Returning since Legion, all characters gone

I haven’t played WoW since legion, Season of Discovery made me come back and after a few months of that I decide to try my hand at retail again, but, all of my characters are gone including all my collections and my beloved Invincible.

It is 100% the correct account, I still have the old emails of buying Legion.
It is 100% the correct realm and I know my characters name, I have old YouTube videos showing my login screen.
My account was not compromised as I’ve been using it for other Battle.net games.

It’s showing a lv8 char I vaguely remembering playing briefly years ago but no other characters, the weirder part is that all my collections are gone too and as far as I know that is account based not character, meaning I should still have all my mounts, transmogs etc but its all gone.

Are you logging into the right realm?

Have you tried making character on the right realm?

Mounts will not disappear so it’s only really one thing, you are using the wrong email to log in. If you logged into the wrong warcraft account it would still show the mounts.

I would say open a lost account ticket with all the details you can remember. CD keys, characters/realms, account names, everything.

Well, it could be you are logging into Wrath Classic but that’s a long shot.

Even if you ragequit and deleted everything the mounts would still be there.

That would be indicate that you either logged to entirely wrong battlenet account (email) or wrong region.

you are logging in the wrong wow account .if you had two wow accounts linked to your battle.net account then you need to choose the one that you had the progress .it will either show as wow1 or wow2 or a random name if you named it .

Not true, because if you actually read the post they say all their Retail mounts have gone so it cannot be in the same battle.net account.

Or the account is from a different region. If they’re logging into a US account, I’m pretty sure none of the EU mounts would be there (and vice versa).

Some items are cross region. Amazon prime items for instance and some twitch items.

I doubt the OP has any or has played in more than one region. The payments in the transactions section will tell them what region they played in.
