I’m struggling to find a hard answer to this as wowhead doesn’t even know.
How long does it now take to return to an old covenant you have previously left? I’ve done “Prove Your Worth” and waiting for the second of those quests to pop up - I know previously you were able to do it in 24 hr if you started it on a Tuesday before reset but they subsequently changed that and am wondering if anyone has any experience of how long it now takes?
“Late in Beta and early in Shadowlands, there was a method by which you could game the system so it could take under 24 hours to switch to a previously-joined covenant, based on gaming the weekly reset. However, this mechanism has been removed, and it will take longer to rejoin.”
" After you have completed your quest Prove Your Worth , you will be told by the faction leader that they need to discuss your worthiness to rejoin. Until then, the next quest, Rebuild Our Trust , is not available. This is at least a 2-day wait, by reports of players who have done this, but incoming data is not yet clear on exactly how long this is. Please comment below if you have any data to report on this."
My gf tested it…
She received the quest on Wednesday after she had done the previous quest on Tuesday…
I’ll talk to her when i’ll get home…in case that Tuesday was Monday or something…
That article hasn’t been updated since 28th of December, so nothing in that article reflects any 9.0.5 changes, and as about 2 weeks ago when I did it you could still do it Tuesday night and then finish it Wednesday morning
Feel free to experiment yourself and let us know how it went, I was going off comments by players who gave feedback to the quests (during 9.0.2) saying it was orientated around the reset. Making the optimal day to change Tuesday.
